I wish there were more places to stay like Hotel Pacific. Chill, simple, great coffee ( ginger latte is well worth a try). The fresh, simple design perfect. With some budget hotels they cut corners in the wrong spots, whereas the savings in operation costs here are so well thought out. Who needs room service in Japan? You should be... More

Three of us stayed in the Japanese style room. It was a smaller room and the mats were not as comfy as we found in other Japanese style rooms. The bathroom was small, but functional. Overall the room was fine - nothing special. We did love the coffee shop in the lobby. That came in very handy. The location is... More

Stayed here for two nights recently and was really impressed with the quality of this little hotel. The bar/cafe downstairs was small but a really pleasant place to have a coffee. It doesn't get busy at night either so there isn't any noise transfer to the rooms upstairs (although we stayed on the 6th floor). The room (605) was small... More

I booked this hotel for it short distance to the attraction points in the City. The Omicho Fish Market is just a few steps away. The Kanazawa Castle Park, the Kenrokuen, and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art are 5 min, 8 min and 15 min walk away. The rooms, though small, are clean and neat. The staff are... More

It's exactly what you'd expect from a small city hotel. The location is very convenient as you can easily walk to all 3 of Kanazawa most prominent sightseeing spots and there's also an arcade with plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff was lovely too and gave us free waterbottles on a sunny day :)

This was one of the best hotels during our stay in Japan. The staff is very friendly! They gave us tips and even made us a dinner reservation of an izakaya restaurant they recommended. Optional breakfast and coffee are delicious!

Great hip hotel in a perfect location, about 20 minute walk from the JR station. The lobby is also a nice coffee shop and the rooms are modern, comfortable, compact but generous for Japanese standards.

Hotel & Service: Entrance of the hotel was nice with a hipster coffee shop and helpful staff. Room (If you love each other it's fine. - If you have relationship issues this room is not for you): You have to get used to small rooms in Japan. The plant in the room was also very hipster. Location: Everything is walking... More

This hotel is a very small family run hotel. There is a car park just around the corner and the tariff for parking over night is very reasonable. Tokyo may well be the most expensive city in Japan in terms of car parking tariff. Most of the service in this hotel is self served but because of its size, this... More

Very small hotel but very good and good value. What it lacks in facilities it makes up for in friendliness. Small (of course) room but well appointed. Excellent coffee in the tiny reception area. Just round the corner from the market building, which is worth a visit, and minutes away from the castle and gardens.
