The group of us visited this beautiful ryokan for one night stay during our 2 weeks trip across Japan. It was most memorable stay experience in a relaxed atmosphere and very kind hosts. The Japanese traditional breakfast was awesome and relaxing in onsen was perfect...More
You really cannot beat the location. It couldn't be more perfect. Kanazawa is such an easy town to visit. The staff here was so nice and accommodating. The dinner is amazing. We really enjoyed this part of our day the most. Kanazawa is rainy. There's...More
The room is fairly basic with shared bathrooms. That being said, the location is perfect for exploring the major sites on foot.

We had a comfortable stay in this basic Ryokan, well located in Kanazawa. The food was very tasty and plentiful - the breakfast was particularly good. Good value. The staff were very friendly. The only negative was that the mats were a little hard.

It has a separate common Western style toilet room with a sink. This is on the 2nd floor. IIRC, there was another Japanese style toilet room in a separate area on the 1st floor which I never used. On the 1st floor are 2 separate onsen areas (1 women/1 men); each onsen has a small changing space and shower area before getting into the spa. There also is a small sitting area with mirror and sink. All of the onsen areas are public.
