I don't even know where to begin. The moment I saw it online, I fell in love with the interior. Upon my day of arrival, everything went perfectly . They picked me up at the bus station and helped me with my bag. The hotel was even more beautiful when you see it in person! I love the minimalist theme...

Upon arriving at the carpark, hotel staff comes to cover your windshield (from snow), greets you and takes your luggage. The reception area is wonderful, luminous and simple. I had booked a room with a private onsen, it was worth it. Open the window and the snow is literally beside you. The meals were great

This was a great winter break spot. If you want to experience onsen and ryokan in a safe environment this is for you. Get a room with a private onsen, it's worth the extra tin. There's a bus route that takes you further into the mountains really easily. The cable car to the peak is worth the price. Beware though,...

This ryokan is located in Hirayu Onsen, Takayama. Driving through the snow-infested mountain ranges would be a bit dangerous during the winter times so please ensure you have installed the snow tires beforehand. We came after visiting the Shinhotaka Ropeway, with the weather turning a bit chilly and snow started falling in early Dec. The entrance to the ryokan is...

The rooms here are amazing, but are traditional Japanese- beds and tables are one or low to the ground. Each room faces the woods, and has an open-air onsen (hot springs tub). Exceptional cleanliness and super friendly staff, along with good meal plans make Mozumo a muse visit location. This is a place to come and relax and re-center. Highly...

We spent 1 night in Mozumo. We just stopped the car, the front desk staff aldy waiting at the main entrance and came up to greet us and helped us to carry the luggages. The check-in area is so silence and you can totally enjoy the relaxing atmosphere since you walked in the hotel. We both loved the design here,...

Mr. WorldTraveller and I spent two nights this Valentine weekend at this lovely, private ryokan. From checkin to checkout, pure care and attention, without being too 'in your face' - yielding us the privacy we craved to enjoy the snowy view from our suite. We picked a suite with a private onsen - a great decision as we were able...
