We booked at the last minute after a very late cancellation by another ryokan who changed their policy on children. Our two seasoned travellers, aged 8 and 11, were welcomed at the Muryama. The family room was incredibly generous in size and facilities. There are women and

One market I visited was just a 10 min drive. The market also had established shops along with tents. The other one may be with fresh foods and monkey baby dolls. And for the meals, I believe you have to let them know a bit in advance. The restaurant is small and they pretty much have the meals ready when you get there.

I have tattoos myself and never had a problem. I think they are more considered with foreigners tho. You can always ask them if that makes you feel better. They were super friendly :) Enjoy!
