My first stop at Takayama as it offers great accessibility to my rental car office and the old streets of Takayama for walks. They made sure our daughter is well taken care of and even provided a kid’s chair in the room with a set of Japanese wear for her too. Bed is comfy and fo

What does a ‘Semi Open Air Bathroom’ consist of?
It’s a rooftop area with a roof but open sides. Sides are opaque glass and vertical slatted wood (visually impervious).

Do you have non-smoking rooms?
How to get to the hotel? Coming from Nagoya. Whether this hotel nearby attractions places?
From nagoya you can take the hide express train to takayama. It's about 2.5hrs. The hotel is walkable from the station or u can request the hotel to pick you up from the station. It's centrally located near nakabashi. And near the shopping street.

how many rooms in the hotel? what kind of baths?
There were 5 floors of rooms for a total of about 20-30. The baths vary but in the bigger rooms were in-room baths as opposed to the traditional ryokan shared baths.
