Nice hotel, good area, ok breakfast and clean room. Drinks in the Lobby overpriced. We booked the hotel specifically because it has a swimming pool. While checking in, we were informed it is for over 18s only. The person at check in made some vague comment that the pool is 1.1m deep and so not suitable for children. I could not find any comment on either the hotel's website or Expedia's (who we booked through) to say that the pool is for 18+ only. The hotel needs to make it clearer for parents that the kids cannot use the pool. Overall, the hotel seems to living off former glories while maintaining unrealistic prices.

The second hotel I stayed with My Explore Japan Tour Friends. My impressions are it is a luxury hotel, great exterior and interior design. The view from the hotel room also amazing. And I love the food served at the restaurant. They are excellent. Not forgetting the experience riding a bicycle around the hotel, just like a natural local citizen. The bicycle is rent for free, love it.

Excellent location, outstanding hospitality, first-rate service--free parking, neat and large room, clean towels, full amenities, numerous electric sockets from wall-to-wall to recharge gadgets, and impressive view of the city and the surrounding from the 10th floor (I stayed in Rm #1006)

Your typical japanese (shoudn't generalise!!) rather formal. ...not so at this hotel . Really friendly, engaging and helpful staff...the reception team especially. This four star hotel boards on five star. Really nice rooms and dinning area. The breakfast especially shows care and attention. I can certainly recommend this hotel
