We are traveling through Japan on vacation and made a stop at this great hotel. Transportation: Has a nice shuttle that runs to Nagoya Train Station every hour which is a welcomed benefit as the hotel is not particularly convenient to trains or subway. Location: As mentioned above it is not in the city center. However, from a tourist perspective... More

I'm not sure why some people complain about this property, it's just great! Free hourly shuttle from Nagoya station deals with the headache of bags on the subway. That said the Segencho station is only ten minutes away and it's an easy and flat walk. McDonald's is open 24 hours and their breakfast is cheap and because Japan does everything... More

On our first driving trip through Nagoya, we discovered this little gem in a part of Nagoya with the most incredible view of Nagoya castle. The room was large by Japanese standard. The breakfast was great. Try to get a executive floor room that comes with a nice lounge for the quiet afternoon cuppa. Only caveat, driving yourself around will... More

We had a view of the Nagoya Castle both day and night. Great service and assistance. The room was spacious, toilets were clean full of the usual amenities and functionality. The beds were nice to sleep in and the usual room amenities with coffee and tea.

The hotel is located near Nagoya Castle. It is not convenient though as the nearest train station is about 15-20 min walk. The hotel looks very old and worn-out. Our room is facing the Nagoya Castle. The view looks just like painting, which is nice. The service is average. We tried to ask for restaurant reservation, but it took 30... More

We were treated to a breathtakingly spectacular view of the Nagoya Castle from our room. Its even more beautiful at night with the light-up although albeit only until 11pm. The front desk (Hiroshi) and conceige (Ryoko) were both exceptional in making our stay very comfortable. They paid special attention to ensure that we only savour the best cuisines and sightseeing... If you like a view of the castle from morning until night, this will be a good choice. Ask for a room with a view. Other than the view, there isn't much for this hotel. There is nothing nearby. You'll hve to travel back to the city center if you want to eat out. As we only stayed for a... More

Nagoya is generally not somewhere I stay for long but it is on my regular trek through Japan for reasons. This time, I splurged on a room here but was pleasantly upgraded to a castle view room. Lovely view though I wish the window opened enough that I could pop my head out at least. The wind was pretty strong... More

I usually stay at Hilton but this time was too expensive.so I tried Westin. If you are not rushing and don't mind spending 15 minutes by car to reach the hotel, this will be a good choice. They have.a bus every hour to.the train station. Great views to the castle of Nagoya. Room rates vary but you Will.get very good... More

Stayed at the Westin Nagoya Castle hotel over a weekend in Nagoya and while it is a little far the center of town (approx 10 minute taxi ride) it was right next to the magnificent Nagoya Castle. Unfortunately I had a city facing room so I didn't get the chance to enjoy the Castle view from bed. All the staff... More
