I stayed at Nagoya Marriott Associa Hotel for 7 nights for family vacation. Location of the hotel was very good: It takes about 30 minutes from Nagoya Chubu Airport by Meitetsu Train to the hotel located next to Nagoya Station; the hotel is also next to city subway trains; Nagoya Castle and many popular sightseeing places are within walking distance; there is a large department stores and a wide variety of restaurants and shops inside the building complex - Umbrella was not needed on rainy days! Elite members of Marriott were recognized and welcomed with special care – especially, Ozeki-san and his Front Office Staff did an excellent job and helped me relax during my entire stay. The hotel rooms, restaurants and executive lounges are well-maintained and have great views of Nagoya city and surrounding mountains. Buffet restaurant, Pegola, offers delicious and fresh foods – I enjoyed Hitsumabushi (grilled eel with rice) and fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. Stayed here for 1 night. I always love staying here because of the proximity to the train station. Post covid I would say the hospitality has been very lacking. Got checked in by a nice lady but was a trainee and was struggling a little bit but was very patient with her. Don't understand the purpose of showing the amount of bonvoy members. I'm wondering if the message there is to tell your chances on the ability to upgrade to a nicer room? It seems that the hotel is trying to nickel and dime you with having the charge you to use the gym. Seems very ridiculous. During happy hour in the elite lounge...did not feel the warmth and food was very lacking. I did like the breakfast buffet set up. For the price you pay I would say it was okay and still would stay because of the convenience to the train station.…

Great location, this facility sits right on top of shopping, restaurants and the rail/subway network. Room was comfortable, with many amenities (yes, they still do provide these). Business center access has to be authorized by the front desk - if one needed to print something. Otherwise, the WiFi is pretty good. Fitness room is well equipped, with screen separators for the treadmills. Pool and spa are charge-able. Best favorite : Coffee machine in room - makes great coffee !!!

Room I have stayed was blocked window view hence not as same as promoted picture on webside so it was disappointed but still the room design and facilities are high-end. Since the location is right inside if main terminal, restaurants and lobby are fully occupied by non-stay guests and looks too busy at all the times and not much opportunity to get connected to staff for asking help.

Chose this due to its location as its our 1st time in Nagoya. We booked a guaranteed allocated connecting room and its just not....cheap. Bf was great as per their standard but housekeeping was a letdown. On the last night, we came back to see a used hand plaster behind the toilet sink tap. Very disgusted but it didnt occur to me that i should call the housekeeping right away. I took the pic and left it untouched till the next day when we checked out. I showed to the front desk lady, the only think she said was " oh, ok i will feedback to the housekeeping". Perhaps i could have done it the night before... Abit disappointed on how they managed it but probably my mistake for not alerting the housekeeping right away. They sent me a survey after that - which is quite norm for most hotels after guest checks out. I highlighted the above as well, until now no one wrote to me. …

This hotel was excellent hotel in this area. But I do not have any more of such a feeling. One of the reason I had an experience.Now we are still under the situation of Covid19, however this hotel is not allowed to bring drinks to room from elite member's lounge, and it was allowed before around a couple of years. This is just a small issue, but big appearance of this hotel dose not have hospitality for staying guest. There are many people sit and talk in lounge without face mask. I think number of guests prefer to bring some cans of drink to their room. But hotel staff dose not allowed it. This treatment is stingy and reasonless.

Hotel is located right above JR and Meitetsu Station, perfect for connecting to nearby cities and suburbs, as well as traveling around Nagoya city. The rooms are refurbished but the suites are kept as traditional. The corner suite is very grand and classic, a contrast against Japanese style hotels. The in room dining offers some local dishes which is very delicious!

Has been a few years since last visit....COVID notwithstanding. Pretty much the same service levels - excellent, and quality as with previous visits. Fitness room has more sanitizing wipes, and distance recommendations. Food options aplenty, with the Takashima food street downstairs, next to the subway. Great views of the city, if one could get a room with an unblocked view.....(some rooms have obstructed views).
