Have been there several times. Its convenient, because is only a 10 min walk from the Nagoya Station. I always have been satisfied and the price is reasonable. Very friendly and professionell staff at the reception. Rooms are large enough from western perspective. Breakfast is not included, but the price is reasonable. WIFI is free. Free water in the room.... More

This hotel claimed to be a long term stay but was not. The hotel caters to international people yet very few staff speak or understand English. The breakfast was the SAME everyday and we were there for five weeks. Laundry staff could not follow instructions even in Japanese and ruined a few pieces of my clothing. The cleaning staff do... I have been an avid Mercure hotel client from Europe to even Sapporo. I like the no-nonsense but very clean and well-maintained hotel rooms they have. Mercure Cypress Nagoya is accessible from Nagoya Station ( a plus). Though you need to walk from the main station, there are available subway stations 2min aways for local subway lines. Rooms are not... More

We stayed two nights at this great hotel. Easy walk from the railway station made it easy for us with our luggage. Bathroom amenities were first class more of the luxury brand style. Staff were courteous and helpful with maps. Breakfast was very good and we were seated at the window providing a wonderful view of the bustling crowds on... More

Have stayed at this hotel now 3 times over the past 6 months for business in Nagoya. Hotel is very close and easy walking distance to Nagoya Central Station so very easy to take the express train from the airport to and from the hotel. Lots of restaurants, pubs, etc. to eat at in this area. Hotel staff is extremely... More

We stayed at the hotel for over a month while we waited for our apartment to be ready. (We moved to Japan temporarily for work, and will be here at least 2 years.) The staff has been wonderful to our family. The front desk has made sure we didn't leave without an umbrella when the weather report wasn't good, the... More

This hotel is an old Sofitel which explains, why the standing is (still) great in the hotel. The rooms are large and I have actually not noticed something negative. The service is outstanding. The hotel is right in a bar and restaurant area with a lot of stuff to do. I really liked it there. The main train station is... More

Stayed this hotel the first time in more than 5 years, the owner company is supposed to be changed, however still they keep good enough atmosphere and services in terms of the reasonable cost and roomy room, however hotel itself is compact size. Around 5 min walk from Nagoya station and lots of restaurants, shops and bars exist around the... More

I stayed at the Cypress for the first time this past week. It was a pleasant surprise for sure. Location is great being so close to Nagoya station and additionally, there are many food options very nearby. This includes western options for those traveling from overseas. Only complaint would've been that I thought the price was a bit high for... More

The location of the hotel is so execellent as it is about 5 to 10 minutes walk away from the main train station(Nagoya Station) and the underground train is very close by too. The room is quite big for the Japanese standard which is another good point for this hotel, apart from the hotel location. We found it to be... More
