We stayed at Richmond Hotel Nagoya Nayabashi for one night before starting our journey to Takayama and Tateyama/Kurobe Route. The hotel is located about 21 minutes' walk from Sakae, the shopping district, and 15 minutes' walk from Nagoya Station. The on-site carpark was not able to accommodate the height of our mini-van, but there was no problem for us to... More

Room was clean and if you opt for eco - no housekeeping required, you get two foc mineral water bottle. New towels was provided at the door... More

We had a huge room, one of the few twin rooms in the hotel; it was well worth the extra expense. When we arrived in Nagoya we took a taxi to the hotel. It is a bit of a walk to the station - 15 minutes or more. When we left, we walked to the station with our luggage. The... More

Our group of 11 people from Australia stayed in this hotel for five nights in April 2016. From Nagoya we did day trips to Kyoto, Matsumoto castle, Hakone. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk to the Nagoya station. Staff at reception are friendly, helpful and efficient. Our twin rooms are comfortable, spacious and modern also with free wifi. The... Pleasantly greeted by front desk agents and offered a variety of amenities upon check in. Definitely geared toward business accommodations, but a good find for the money conscious traveler. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time at the hotel, this is a great find. Don't forget to stop in at the cafe on the first floor!

Disclaimer: stayed only for one night and did not have the breakfast service. Check-in was easy, after confirming the reservation and giving you the key, you pay off to the side at an automated machine. All in English, takes cards and cash. The lobby (after midnight) and the elevators (24hr) are secured with your room key. My room was right... More

Big room with a good price is the hotel main attraction.check in efficient .But parking is a big problem.REMEMBER to download the luggage at the roadside in front of the hotel before parking and the carpark closes at 11pm. Honest front desk returning the overcharged car park fee.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price which I've paid for. Clean, spacious and super friendly staff. Breakfast is also delicious. About 10 to 15 mins walk to Nagoya Station. Alternatively, there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, with buses to the station as well. I would recommend using the Hirokoji Exit from Nagoya station.

Nice hotel at a good price. Clean, sleek, modern, nice room, nice breakfast in the lobby at a fair price for this sort of place. The location is, as another said, a little in-between, but in more a good way than a bad way; everything seems to be walking distance away. No complaints from me.
