Detailed Reviews
Special Thanks to supervisor Amir and miss sina from housekeeping as they made my stay at the hotel more enjoyable. They're efficient and know what it means to serve their guests and I highly recommend they train the entire staffing.
The room was ordered and as needed, and the sea view at 5th floor was just amazing to me specially when I could not get out due heat to see the beach. I recommend to provide more services please and to care more about welcoming and greeting the guests and to have a quick solutions provided when needed. I recommend anyone staying at the hotel to keep either supervisor amir or sina from housekeeping to keep care for the room and if anything needed as they were very nice and friendly! The food was clean and average and the location of hotel is perfect nearby the souq and beach and restaurants.
Looking forward for another nice and much better experience and services provided!

Cleanliness in the hotel is very poor
The bathroom is not cleaned, even though they were asked to do so more than once.
The garbage bags in the bathroom are not removed.
We received the rooms at the hotel and the trash was full in the bathroom
Breakfast is simple, but I noticed a lack of interest in the topic
Clean the tables after finishing the meal and place eating utensils on them
Like a fork and knife...
The only good thing about the hotel was that the room had a view.
.the sea
Note: Anyone will notice that there is a mistake in the bathroom design.

Staff here is very welcoming and polite. The service here is better than most comparable hotels I have stayed at, and even better than some five-star hotels. There is a security screening device and guard at the door but once the staff recognizes you as a guest they won't make you go through screening.
Rooms were clean and looked newly renovated at the time of stay. Beds are small but comfortable. Air conditioning was extremely powerful. Even on low, it was sufficiently cold. This is much appreciated because Aqaba is extremely, unbearably hot in summer. Everything worked in the bathroom. Water pressure was good, hot water was always available, and toilet flush was powerful (these are rare qualities for a three star hotel in this country). Fridge was very cold and flatscreen TV had good selection of English channels.
There is a porch/balcony with a view of the sea. In my opinion, the view is similar to the view at rooms in Kempinski and Movenpick, which would have cost multiples of the rate I paid here.
Breakfast sucks, unfortunately: hot dog, boiled eggs and bread with some jam and condiments, instant coffee. The omlette station was not easily found; I didn't even know it existed until the fourth day of my stay. I usually skip breakfast and get shwarma or falafel outside. Floka Restaurant is nearby as well as a pharmacy, liquor store (important because this is the only type of store where alcohol is sold in Jordan, and not many restaurants serve alcohol) and convenience store.
There is a pool outside the restaurant below ground level (a little odd) but I didn't use it. There is also a rooftop bar that some local lads hang out at.
We looked a the room at Rae'd and found it horrid. Days Inn was disgusting and staff was rude. Mina was a perfect choice for us.

+1
Stayed at the Mina Hotel Aqaba late February as part of a package arranged by a Jordanian tour company. This is one of the less expensive hotels in this beautiful resort area. The building is old but there are ongoing renovations in some floors.
Our room and bathroom are simple yet brilliant... bright, big and clean. The room amenities are complete and you get complimentary bottled water. The beds and pillows are comfortable and big. The airconditiong and wi-fi also work well.
The Front Desk staff are very welcoming and the most helpful. Their level of service is superb! I am thankful for their help in making last minute booking for a Red Sea sunset cruise. I super appreciate. They also gave us a top floor room with balcony for nice views of the stunning Red Sea.
Location is likewise excellent. Mina Hotel is a short stroll to the public beach. There are lots of shops and restaurants just outside the hotel. In Aqaba, choices for Dead Sea products and souvenir items are abundant and the prices are lower compared to the souvenir shops we have been to in other parts of Jordan.
Breakfast is ok, buffet style. Dinner is good and with varied options. Dinner is served at the nearby Golden Tulip Hotel.
Thank you for the impeccable service and for a wonderful stay in Aqaba!

I was told the room was 10 JD more than what is advertised here. There was no water, tea, cups or glasses in room, which are normally supplied, but did find a filthy spoon & table on balcony very dirty. The linens are very old, look & smell dirty, with smoke smell in the bed. The phones were not working & think it's been like that a long time. I was given a number to call a cell phone, but it was never answered when I did, so had to go down to the desk every time something was needed. Jordan has a serious water shortage, but at this hotel, the water runs for 20 mins. before it gets hot. The housekeeping supervisor is arrogant & nasty, along with the man at the pool who told me I could have a towel for only 45 mins. because the pool was closing, even though the GM told me it closed an hour later. The GM looks & acts extremely stressed, not knowing how to handle problems or resolve them, even though think he's a nice guy. The restaurant mgr. was very good, trying to please in this difficult time of the plandemic.

Greetings ScenicAwe We take every review seriously and we researched your comments and have noted many points; though with all due respect, we disagree about our management and a few of your remarks. Our General Manager and staff did all they could and more to assist with your stay and I have contacted each and everyone mentioned above and reviewed your claim. I trust that this is an isolated incident as our management team and staff at the Mina Hotel are family and we trust their customer service skills to make every guest feel welcomed, safe and secure. Thank you.

The room was pretty enough big and the beds were really comfortable and clean.
The place is at the city center, you can access many places easily. They also provide a wide range of food and drink for breakfast. Wifi is rather fast
Thanks to all staff for their hospitality:)
