Not our first choice but since other hotels in downtown were fully booked (at least those what our travel agency sells), and did not want to got to Tala Bay, we ended up to Golden Tulip. Dirty all over the hotel! We stayed there for a week and never saw eg hotel floors clean. Needed to ask for towels and...

We had to have our room changed as the first room had a very stained mattress and was in generally poor condition. We were moved to a suite with sea views.Much better. This Hotel has seen better days and is in a central position near restaurants.

Rooms on the front of the hotel overlook a building site and a mosque, very noisy! The hotel is not too far from anything and is one of the highest buildings in the town, so it is easy to find. Somewhat outdated. Reasonable breakfast

What to say?? Dirty bathroom, filthy wardrobe, dusty skirting boards, mouldy in bathroom, doors hanging off wardrobe, a Clark who tried to charge every member of our group when our stay was all pre-paid, dingy lobby, just horrid. Stay at the Doubletree. A little bit more, but great value and not even comparable.

Checked in here with tour. It is on a very loud street. Ar night there is countless cars and noise and you hear it right in your room. There is a large cage with a bird in it in lobby. While strange I wouldn't think a bird like that should be in a hotel. Room was dirty...furniture was old falling...

On the plus side, we arrived earlier than check in time, having advised the hotel in advance, and they had our rooms ready very quickly. However, the bathroom bin had not been emptied from the previous guest, the shower leaked all over the floor, the water pressure was very low and both bedroom and bathroom were cold. Later in the...

The room (511) was large, modern and comfortable, excellent shower. Breakfast was very elaborate. The staff was friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is located across the street from a school. Each morning (except Fridays) at 8.00 they will scream the national anthem, supported by distorted music. Luckily, we would already be awake, due to the announcements and singing of the...

Golden Tulip is centrally located in Aqaba. This is the only positive thing to mention over this place. I was dissappointed on several occassions. First I have paid 20% more on the rate when I have made reservation. I was charged 10% for the service, which is not available at Golden Tulip at all. Finally the Reception has called me...

The reviews for this hotel are mixed because the rooms are mixed. In our group of 18 people some had an ok room (and the beds are good, the linen is clean, the towels are fine) but others had dirty floors, oozing sewage and a single small window 8 feet above the floor. They refused to move people in the...
