Hotel is in the city centre and it has four stars. I think that 4 stars are too much for this hotel. Rooms are nice and clean but this is not enough for 4 stars. In addition, the services are not in alignment with 4 stars. The breakfast is . The hotel has two very important deficiencies: Internet connection is weak and very often not working! The sound isolation of the rooms is bad. This can be very annoying as hotel is located in the centre where you can expect a lot of noise from the street and there is also a very big amount of noises coming from the hotel facilities (kitchen, laundry,…).

Thank you for the comment and addressing the 2 issues. A 4 star Hotel in a city center may encounter noise-- location location location, though which does work in our favore for convenience. Though, regarding the Hotel Facility, disturbance we will look into that ! Regarding the Internet, we have addressed the internet capacity and strength. Thank you and wishing you well. MJ in Jordan.

A small group of us started our tour from Jordan arriving in Aqaba. The Golden Tuplip Hotel was our first hotel on arrival into Jordan. The hotel grounds are actually not too bad at all, however there were problems with Wifi (as in we could not get any) and we had a blocked shower drain, a plumbing issue next to the toilet (relating to the Biday attachment) and also cold water coming from the shower. This was probably a poort start, but maintenance man came to sort it all out and we were able to relax after that. The Staff at reception are really helpful. The breakfast bar and dinner was really good. Lots to choose from. If you were on a higher floor in this hotel, the hotel was out so that probably was a concern for anyone past 1st floor. My friends and I were only staying here for one night before going to Petra, so perhaps fortunate that we were based on the ground floor. The reception area was literally the only place we could get Wifi. It's an ok hotel but I don't think its really a four star! 2/ 3 star at best. Its perfect for a few nights, but any longer - there are others close by.

Greetings Shahid Thank you for bringing the attention to the WIFI as our management since then have addressed the connection. The Plumbing, as stated on the signage in the hotel, we are in the process of the renovation and have addressed the plumbing. We do appreciate you bringing these important matters to our attention and we do our very best to turn a problem into a solution within reason. Lastly, we do believe we have met the international 4 star standards and always working on improvements with our hotel. Wishing you well from Jordan and hope to see you back.

I stayed there 3 nights, the location is very good, very central, but let's be honest, Aqaba is very small town and everything is within 10 min walking distance. The staff in the hotel were really rude, like they don't give a **** for you (except the cleaner, he was so nice). Breakfast was poor in my opinion, room was very basic and tue bathroom was really dirty. Also, there is a mosque next door and some elementary school, after 4:30 you won't be able to sleep, the isolation is so bad. Don't know what to say more, but every 2 and 3 star hotel in the town beats this one. Don't remember when I had last time such a bad experience with a hotel...

We were there as part of a deal package, we stay 2 nights The room was good size, good bed, clean room The bathroom was ok, not the cleanest, but ok You don't have water boiler (for tea or coffee) The breakfast was the worst thing, even a coffee was bad, not a lot of food options. The good point is the location, its located in a nice area, close to the beach an really close to a nice street with restaurants and shopping shops
