I actually think this place is great. It is, after all a budget option, so I wasn't expecting much, however the staff were fantastic. The room was a bit run down but this was made up for by it's size (huge) and its awesome view over the gulf of Aqaba. It is a good place to stay if you don't...

Seriously, I don't even know why Lonely Planet bothered to mention this place. The whole thing stinks of cigarette, rooms are in serious need of a refresh, it's super noisy, etc. They don't even have wifi. Worst part is it's not even cheap! We found a better and cheaper hotel the very next day.

My experience with this hotel was not as bad as the other reviewers but now I wish that I had tried some of the other places. We booked two nights and it was 20 JD a night, so we thought that was a good deal. There is a couple of restaurants next door and the food was good and cheap....

Stayed there for one night in early November before rushing out to another hotel the day after. Can't believe otherwise trustworthy Lonely Planet bothered to review this hotel and even said some good things about it. My room (which had a remote sea view beyond a large, noisy parking lot) was dingy, bed sheets had suspicious yellow stains and a...

We always stay at budget options and we chose this one as Lonely Planet recommended it as Top Choice among budget options. We have never ever stayed in a worse place!! Dodgy interior, the bed sheets were dirty (there was hair on them - we then chose to sleep in our sleeping bags), dirty and burnt carpet on the floor,...

Well we arrived from Egypt and it was late. The cost was 40JD for a twin room it was dirty and very noisy from the building screening of X factor. We had to pay for the two nights upfront. Again we should have known better. Whatever you do don't stay. It makes them think that the rooms are ok. It...

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights over 2 weeks of time and i have had a warm welcome here. Because we travel by bicycle we have some special questions sometimes but the staff was very willing to help us out with parking, fresh water, .... The rooms are oldfashioned and it looks a bit crappy but everything works...

I prebooked this hotel whilst staying in Petra to be sure of a hotel in Aqaba. It has a review in the Rough Guide so I felt sure it would have been an OK hotel. I arrived early morning 9am before the room was ready. The recepionist on the front desk was most unhelpful, unfriendly and a thoroughly miserable person....
