Room was spotless and there were no items left from other guests such as soap, shampoo, coffee etc. Covid precautions included distribution of personal packages of toiletries and coffee items for making coffee. A personal bag of towels was given to us upon arrival. The package even included a pack of disinfecting wipes in so you could even do your own wipe down. The hotel was super clean & beds were very comfy! We also had a nice outdoor dinner next door@ the attached restaurant. Location offered quick access to Interstates 90 and 290, Daemen College, and Buffalo International Airport. Hotel staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Hotel's lot is proximal to a Hyatt located at the rear. The Jazzboline restaurant was located near the hotels and within walking distance although I did not utilize. Please be advised, the Jazzboline restaurant was open for limited hours and for dinner only. Hotel lobby and corridors were clean and equipment functional. Upon entering my guest room, I realized there was a stale, rotten odor. I discovered that the guest toilet was filled with waste; I did not report this to hotel staff. The rest of the guest room was clean and equipment functional. Guest room bed was exceptionally comfortable. Hotel fitness center appeared to be clean although I did not utilize during my stay. Limited, shared outdoor parking areas available. Several take-out and chain restaurants were in close proximity of hotel though all may not be within walking distance as hotel is located on busy Route 5. Vehicle traffic noise was average but did not affect sleep quality. Overall, pleasant experience. I would consider returning to this hotel when visiting the Amherst area in the future.Thank you for your thorough review! Our fourth stay in the Reikart. We keep coming back because this hotel stands out for its 5 star service and the terrific rooms. Seriously, you won't see this level of service at a JW Marriott. The building is clean and new, the bar is great and it's in a location that's easy to get to most locations in Buffalo.

We chose this hotel because it was very close to the airport without being an airport hotel. The rooms are a bit wonky, but comfortable. They could provide more cups for sure. Glad I didn't need a desk because the on provided is terrible. The food in the restaurant is pretty good. The bed and pillows are above average. Could use better furniture to sit on.

We spent 2 nights at Reikart House and we have nothing but good things to say. The hotel was beautiful and immaculate. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. It’s a shame we don’t have much need to go to Buffalo because we would happily stay there again.

This hotel is an unexpected gem right off of the highway, in a quiet suburb. The lobby is beautifully decorated. We loved the free coffee in the morning and fruit-infused water throughout the day. Beds were extremely comfortable, with exceptionally soft linens. There is a mini-fridge in the room, but no table (just an old-fashioned slanted desk, not suited for a plate or cup). Short drive to picturesque Glen Falls!

Had a late flight coming into Buffalo and just wanted an overnight close to the airport before heading to Niagara. Originally booked at one of the hotels at the airport, I stumbled on this gem that is under 10 min from the airport. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the hotel receptionist with a smile and extremely pleasant demeanor. She gave us the overview of what is where and when as she was getting our keys. (oh, cookie was great too) Our room was, well, simply amazing. Spacious, clean. bright, and asthetically pleasing - my first thought was "wish I had booked an extra night here". Bed and pillows - very comfy and had a great sleep Bathroom and shower spacious. clean and had everything we needed incl Shampoo/Conditioner that was really softening on my hair. There is no pool but guests can use the pool/hotub in the sdjacent hotel which was a minute walk across the parking lot. We did use the pool and the process again, pleasant, welcoming and the pool area was clean and not crowded (albiet being nearly 9p). We then went to the adjoining restaurant at the Reikart for a quick dessert and drink to end the day. Feeling repatative now - yet another great experience. What lowered the points for me was that I could hear my neighbor through the walls, and you can hear the vibrating of footsteps in the next room through the floorboards. You can also hear car alarms going off at night through the windows. The front desk is just a B+. I had to go there three or four times to get routed to the right room. Also, they don't have hand sanitizer easily available in the common area. The room itself has nice decor, but what's the value if you can hear the noise from your neighbor relentlessly all day long?

I don’t travel much but in my 48 years on this Earth I’ve never liked a hotel better than the Reikart House. You cannot go wrong with the Romance package or the Jocko-ing around package. This is our second time coming here and we look forward to returning here again.

What a charming unique hotel! I loved the decor. Very elegant with whimsical touches (ie capuchin monkey logo). I liked the high desk in the guest room and the display of antique keys located behind the lobby’s front desk. I also liked the fragrances in the lobby and hallways. The chocolate chip cookies that they gave us upon check-in were delicious. The hotel was quiet and clean with plenty of free parking. The bed was so comfortable! I definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the Buffalo area.

We stayed one night here for a college visit near by and it was wonderful. Great location in a very safe neighborhood with tons of restaurants and shopping near by. The room was beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful. If my daughter chooses University of Buffalo we visited we will be be back again and again 😊

I thought this was a very nice hotel. I particularly liked the common areas in the lobby. The rooms have a high end and modern feel, and the staff was friendly. The location is convenient, although outside of downtown, so unfortunately requires driving to most things. But otherwise all around great stay.
