I spent 4 delightful nights at Leopard Rock and was completely blown away. The staff were friendly and professional, the food was exquisite fine dining (with the most comprehensive and impressive wine list) and we felt so welcome. Apart from all of this though it was the small touches that makes this hotel stand out... For instance, every evening when... More

Like the Nesbitt Castle in Bulawayo, really totally unexpected to find such a property there, was Leopard Rock an equal eye opener. The location was spectacular and the roads to and from the resort were in very good shape, as were all roads in Zimbabwe I traveled on. The golf course, 18 holes, must be one of the best in... More

Family friendly, kids can encounter plains game extremely close and safe, so many other activities for families and championship golf course. Great hotel to stay at if on overnight business trip when in Mutare. The view when you wake up in the morning is spectacular. The drive from Mutare if no hassle and worth the views.

We stayed here in December on our way from Mozambique to a safari lodge in Zimbabwe for a night on the way and one on the way back. Its a stunning area in the mountains, the drive was beautiful to get there and Leopards Rock is impressive to approach. It is definetly a unique place to stay, but we found... More

I had visited the Leopard Rock Hotel on a number of occasions in the past but this was my first stay in a long time. There is no doubt this is one of Zimbabwe’s iconic hotels and its setting is simply breath taking. The Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe has been hit very hard by the country’s economic woes, none less... More

This stay was unforgettable. The hotel is simply stunning. We stayed in the Queen Mother suite, which is beautifully maintained and luxuriously appointed. The food at the hotel is superb. The golf course is not to be missed. One of the world's best.

We visited leopard rock over the half term weekend. It was as usual absolutely superb with a fantastic array of activities laid on for the kids, there was tennis coaching, golf lessons, archery, yoga and bouncy castle, and full time clown keeping them entertained the whole time. The food was outstanding, the service second to none and the kids dining... More

It is just a beautiful ride up to the hotel and a must do. The hotel itself is very nice and classy, but a bit rundown. We were almost the only people there. The hotel mixed up our dates and we had to wait a bit to get it sorted, but the service overall was excellent! They even packed our... More

Leopard Rock Hotel is on its way up again after ownership changed. The location is nothing but stunning and so is the golf course. The quality of the restaurant has improved as well. Don't miss having sundowners at the castle. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. And remember.... there is another "treat" nearby which one must not miss: Tony's... More
