We had a very comfortable two night stay at Musangano. We were a diverse group including two under 13's and two elderly folk. It suited all! The Lodge was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Everything was very well organised and thought through. The views are exquisite as are the walks and the pool area was perfect for all ages. I highly recommend the restaurant: a diverse menu, exquisitely cooked. Thank you so much.

I last stayed at Musangano two years ago and can confirm that it has got even better. The self-catering lodges are absolutely beautiful with stunning views and excellent facilities. The staff are extremely friendly, experienced and accommodating. The grounds and pool area are perfect for a family holiday and the restaurant serves truly delicious meals. We stayed for two nights and managed to fit in two of the well signposted hikes around the area. I highly recommend this as an addition to your stay to experience the beautiful woodland and granite outcrops with incredible views. Thanks Musangano team, for another great and restful experience!

The tourism hotspots in Manicaland are Nyanga and Vumba and Musangano is in neither of the two towns. That it stands as one of the top destinations shows just what a gem it is. The place is well maintained and surrounded by pristine forest. So thick are the bushes that each chalet feels like its faraway from everything. its like having civilisation in the middle of a wilderness. The place also has well paved footpaths that meander through the wooded hills on the property. Its a dream destination for jogging . We particularly enjoyed the rooms with their fireplaces. As we stayed there on a particularly freezing and misty weekend this was truly welcome. We also have nothing but praises for the staff who were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. If you are tired and want a break in a quiet, peaceful and secluded paradise highly recommend Musangano.

Beautiful place, ideal for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city but remaining close enough and well connected to the outside world. The nature trails, breath taking views we could not get enough of that. We stayed in a spacious, clean 3 bed-lodge serviced daily, internet worked well throughout our stay. We required extra bed, The team was friendly and responded to our requests promptly. We were self catering and one of us had a birthday during our stay. We ordered a cake - which was delivered to our lodge on a complimentary basis. Thanks so much to the team - that was a delicious cake. We also liked private parking with ample space as well as the barbecue area. The kitchen however needs modern equipment and utensils. The gas stove has seen the better part of its days. We would have loved having a microwave oven among other small items which were not there.

Wished we had stayed longer in this beautiful, well run lodge in a stunning location. We stayed in the spacious family lodge for on one night. Excellent, well-maintained facilities. Wifi in the lodge was a real bonus. Beautiful walks. Great information provided on activities to do in the area. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good but very pricey. This is a perfect stopover location for travellers to Mozambique, Chimanimani, Chipinge or Chiredzi.

Had a lovely break at this place. We had a self catering option which was great for our family with small kids. A great place for walks and hiking. There is also a nice swimming pool and playground. I can safely call this a hidden gem

The campsite at this lodge is clean, with excellent ablutions, shady campsites and nice walks for birding. WiFi is available at the lodge. The staff are efficient and helpful. It is close to the Mutare Harare road. Hot water and lights with clean flush toilets.

All were very kind and helpful. Would wish to have possibility to come again and stay a bit longer. It was a pleasure to have the beautiful view over the area. Only one minus: Some fly screens on the windows did not fully close.

The lodge is within easy reach of Mutare and on the main road to Harare. The access road off the main ar road leaves a lot to be desired. Staff cordial and friendly and the food wholesome if somewhat scant. The rooms are a distance away from the restaurant and reception.
