photos on website looked good but experience was disappointing, basically back-packer standard. Drive and approach were fine but standard of rooms lacked care/maintenance e.g. no toilet seat, door handle had only 1 of 4 screws, cracked mirrors. Ironically there was a flat screen TV! They did change our room when we complained but not much better. Mosquito net in sections and difficult to keep closed. Staff did spray the room with insecticide when requested. Cooked breakfast nothing like the photo and carried over from other side of site, so lukewarm. Was disappointing after reading the website, but was cheap. Also there were power cuts on each of the 3 days we were there.

I stayed at this lodge at the end of December. The photos on their website do not represent reality at all. There was NO pool. The rooms are badly built, with gaps everywhere for huge spiders and other creatures to come in. The rooms were never cleaned nor towels changed during my stay. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the manager was a good person and I felt sorry for him having to deal with dissatisfied clients. He really did his best. If you read reviews for this accommodation on other websites you will find that they reflect the experience I had.

Clean tidy nice staff, rooms are good. The market is nearby. Hot water available and towels too. Air conditioned rooms. You can reserve activities right from the hotel. There is nice open air area where you can enjoy the fresh air.

On my recent business trip in Lusaka, I had an opportunity to meet a wonderful lady, Mrs Sharon, and by chance I was informed that she has lodges and one in Livingston. Since my dreams was to visit one day the Victoria Falls, in approaching her, she managed to organise the trip for me. The pick up and all tourists activities were organised by her. I took a drive trip, 8 hours, that did help me to discover the other side of Zambia. On my arrival in Livingston, the staff were already informed to pick me at the bus station. The gentleman who did pick me, Lloyd, did welcome me so gently that the tiredness of the trip dissappear. The next day, all activities were organised for me. I was able to go to Victoria Falls and to walk with cheetah. Personnally, I will recommend this lodge. The price of the rooms are very affordable. ..between...usd 50 and usd 75. For group there is discount. My only remark is that the break feat is not yet at the international standard but they working toward it. Each, request is very well accepted and they do their best to make clients comfortable. Enjoy you dream vacation. Charlotte
