For those of us who are lucky enough to stay here, the Islands of Siankaba provides a wonderful place to get away for a brief time from all the tumult in the world. I can only confirm all the things that have been said about the quality of the accommodations and, most importantly the warmth and helpfulness of the staff.... More

I spent several wonderful days here in May. Beautiful setting on the Zambizi, lovely room, nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed (complete with bed warmer for the chilly nights while I was there) and mosquito netting. My bathroom included tub and shower and two sinks. The towels large and thirsty and the toiletries exceptional. The food was delicious (breakfast,... More

Stayed for 2 nights with my family before our Safari in Kruger. There is no place on Earth with a more accommodating staff. The grounds are unique and beautiful. The individual tent styled rooms are absolutely phenomenal. Beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Food is wonderful. Located on the river, you hear the running sounds day and night. We might be nuts... More

We are just returning from an amazing holiday in Africa. Our last stay was in Zambia at the Islands of Siankaba. What a great way to end our trip. The resort is amazing. The food is out of his world (under Eunice's direction). The rooms are unique. The service is unbelievable. Our drivers (Hilary and Simonga) were great. If there... More

We spent three wonderful days on the 'Islands' and were treating like prodigal sons! There is more to do around Livingstone than we had time to do, and we're definitely planning to come back and base ourselves at Siankaba. The food was great and the sunset cruises were unforgettable.

What impresses you first about this lodge is the quality of the people. The staff are enthusiastic, motivate and incredibly helpful. We were deliberately looking for a smaller camp with a beautiful setting. We wanted to avoid the bigger hotels, closer to the Falls, and start our safari trip with a real lodge on the river and with hippos and... More

Islands of Siankaba is so unique in so many ways. From the moment you arrive to a host of smiling faces who are genuinely happy to see you are welcomed and made to feel like part of the Siankaba family. The accommodation reached by rope bridges over the Zambezi is and both rustic magical and luxurious. The sunset cruises never... More

We stayed here for two nights, and wish we could have had at least three! The "tree house" is amazing! Laying in bed you look out at the Zambezi River, which was very high and rapid while we were there. Our friendly hippo would wake us each morning. Because it is late fall there, it was cold at night and... More

Stayed recently with my husband for 2 nights and were treated like royalty! The staff are all incredibly personable, knowledgeable and charming. I even got an opportunity to visit the local village and speak with the Headman, it was a great eyeopener as to how life is lived in Zambia. The birding was good and all the staff were quick...
