We stayed in the Nut House and it was wonderful. We loved the pool and the deck overlooking the river. Everyone we encountered at this lovely property was incredible. Brenda was so amazing. She took excellent care of us while we were there. I can't say enough good things about our stay here. The trip to Victoria Falls was wonderful. We fished, did a sunrise boat tour, did a helicopter ride over the falls and spent plenty of time just relaxing there. The food was amazing. Some of the best meals we had in our 3 weeks in Africa. I hope we get to return one day soon. Cheers to the amazing staff.

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a wonderful review of your time spent in our gorgeous Nut House. It is always wonderful to hear that our staff took very good care of you and that you loved our beautiful surroundings. We are also so happy that you mentioned the food because we are especially proud of our dining experience. Not only is our head chef Zuwi one of our oldest staff members from the local area (he joined us in 1991 as a helper in the kitchen and through our training has become one of the most respected chefs in Zambia!) but we also grow most of our own fruit, vegetables, and herbs in our 100% organic gardens. We hope you will be able to return soon and spend time with us again. Team Tongabezi

Tongabezi was the perfect escape from the craziness of the city. It was an immersive experience into nature, yet we were completely taken care of. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and was always there for every need with a warm smile. The setting was breathtaking, thinking about it now makes me wish I was there!! The lake is gorgeous, and all of the offerings of the lodge made the experience one of my favorite trips ever!!

This place is absolutely amazing! I traveled here as a solo female traveler and had beyond a wonderful time! The staff is so friendly and welcoming that it just made me feel like I was staying with family. It is a pricey place to stay but if you can afford it then you MUST stay here, you won't regret it.

Every corner of this place is superb and thought about! I spent 2 nights at Tongabezi and was very well treated with floating dinners under star-stretched sky, tiger fishing at the mighty Zambezi river packed with crocodiles and hippos, outdoor massages surrounded by shaded trees and curious monkeys, sunset cruise and sand bar under a fire coloured sky! This is among few things that this magical place offers! And not to mention, its located between the beautiful Victoria Falls on one side, and Chobe National park on the other, offering lot's of adventure activities for the more adrenaline seeking soul! Its food, design and privacy made it like a small heaven! Its indeed a pure jewel, not to be missed, for an extraordinary experience in Southern Africa!

The food was ample, delicious, and beautifully presented. Trega made sure our days flowed smoothly and with ease. Fishing, bike riding, and wildlife viewing with local professionals were just some of the activities we enjoyed during our stay. This is really a magical place. The lodge is an active strong force in supporting a school which provides much needed and high quality education to local kids.

Your review is not only incredibly kind, but you also managed to cover every single thing that we pride ourselves in the most! 1.) Our team: Trega is completely awesome! As is the rest of our locally trained team. 2.) Our School and impact on the local community - this is our major focus and how wonderful to have it noticed and appreciated. The students are the brightest part of our little community in more than one way. 3.) Our food -- We grow almost all of it in our own gardens, and we're so happy it was also delicious! 4.) Our activities - How did you find the time to do so many?? Thank you so much for your wonderful words, and we sincerely hope to have you here again very soon. You really seem like our kind of guest ;) Team Tongabezi
