The room is good and the view is good 👍 👌. Now the food is too expensive and not tasting very good. Otherwise the service is good. I would recommend it. The breakfast is also world class . The swimming pool is nice.
Highly recommend The Royal Livingstone for any visitors to the Victoria Falls. Couldn’t really be any closer and the view as cross the lawns to the Zambezi and the Falls is just beautiful. Apart from superb location, the staff excel in all areas and can’t do enough for you. Seeing zebras and giraffes, baboons and impalas, freely roaming through the grounds was simply stunning. We will definitely return.
We had an excellent weekend and enjoyed the serenity of the setting. We were pleased to find that the same serenity swept through our room and made us wish we were staying longer. We deeply appreciate how helpful the staff are, and how they made our visit most memorable. To crown it all, the food was wonderful.
Life is a journey, but a journey can only be memorable when you experience something new, a stay at Royal was fulfilling, so much to do, well experienced and friendly workers, food on point, the rooms are awesome, so cozy, the pool by the Zambezi river is just great.
A very beautiful place. I thought the food and quite on the expensive side. I loved the tranquility and cleanliness. I thought the staff are a bit uptight, not sure why but a little of friendliness would do.
Loved the location, staff was friendly and amazing, sunsets were gorgeous. Incredible experience. We would definitely come back here if we return to Victoria Falls. Jackson went out of his way to give us a tour of the grounds and walked with us to the falls when we arrived.
Our stay was arranged by AbsoluteZambia Safaris. I can only say Wow!!! What a fabulous place! From the friendly and personable and professional staff to the wildly delicious food and cocktails to the incredible setting, this is a location that is the place of dreams. We awoke to wild giraffe and zebra outside our window, and went to sleep hearing hippos, but without any concern about mosquitos! The only slight issue was the slow WiFi but, really, when you're there, that's not any concern at all. I highly recommend The Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls. I plan to go back again one day!
Amazing! Absolutely beautiful hotel and a fantastic Staff. From the moment we arrived we were really treated like royalty. From the driver, bell boys, check-in staff, the excursion specialist to the buttlers. Everyone was amazing. We were there at the end of our South African trip. And only had three days there . The hotel is in Zambia, we got the visa $50 us each to be able to cross over to the other side of the Victoria Falls but we didn't need it as we took the helicopter tour instead. Our driver said that the government is looking to decrease the price of the Visa in the near future to make it easier for tourism. We booked a semi private boat (one other couple was supposed be there but they didn't come so we had it all to ourselves lol) we were picked up right from the hotel dock and had a wonderful sunset tour. The excursion specialist recommend the tour and it was amazing. We had three things on our agenda, 1) the sunset cruise, 2) Swim in the Devil's Pool at Victoria Falls, 3) helicopter over the Victoria Falls. And we did it all! Thanks to the hotel they were able to book everything upon our arrival. The hotel itself is beautiful. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. We were on ground level with a beautiful patio. The hotel is fenced in and there are animals roaming free. It's pretty cool! We saw giraffes 🦒 monkeys 🐒 zebras 🦓 . The hotel has 3 restaurants. One is a 24 hour bar/restaurant. Breakfast was included with our stay. It is buffet style and a great variety of food. Lunch and dinner was your choice. You can order from the menu or a buffet style, (depending on the restaurant you choose) Fantastic Staff very helpful at all times. Some additional services they have are a Spa, we enjoyed a wonderful couples massage, hair salon, and when we went to swim in the devil's pool, it was recommended that we wore our shoes, the hotel dried them for us in an hour. That was a great service as we had to pack up and leave the next day. For tips, make sure you have either their currency or small US dollars. You really want to tip, they do such a great job. We ran out of small change, and the front desk staff had someone run out and exchange larger bills to small. Honestly, an amazing place, people and a great experience! Would highly recommend it. …
After our 2 week mobile safari, it was so nice to be pampered at the Royal Livingstone for a couple of days. I can’t say enough about how friendly and accommodating the staff was and the facilities were simply beautiful and so comfortable, not to mention the setting along the Zambezi River, close enough to see the mist from Vic Falls, plus the entertainment from the animals on property. It was a perfect ending to our time in Southern Africa.
Just the place to be. I enjoyed their room service, food and beverages. If you are planning a holiday on anywhere near the Zambezi river and get the full view of nature and humanity in one place then go to the Royal Livingstone in Zambia
