We camped here just one night. The camp is adjacent to the park, but fenced off, and the animals wander right by your tent. Lots of monkeys in camp, be aware. The lodge sits right on the river where you can take a cruise as the boats dock here. The open air bar is a busy scene full of campers... More

Some of the rooms have screened in porches....nice for animal viewing at night! This hotel is located on the water and the bar on the river is great. As we were having dinner a dazzle of zebras stopped to graze in front of us and the monkeys entertained us with their antics in the trees. The lodge is beautiful and... More

The camping and setting was great. Close to Livingstone and Vic Falls , set amongst the trees , close to nature and the river. Tents were fine but mattresses a bit thin. Chilly in winter evenings so take a good sleeping bag. Ablution facilities ok but not great. The pool area is great for evening socials but fairly old and... More

What an awesome experience.... traveling through Africa can be quite a tricky experience, but one does it to find its unique beauty and Livingstone Safari lodge helped me with my quest. The management and staffs friendly and helpfulness showed that side of Africa that is renown for. Situated close to the town, gave me the convenience of mingling with the... More

Venue filled with rustic charm, luscious lawns and big beautiful trees. Was the ideal location to camp over at for a few nights in Livingstone. There were sufficient facilities and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I look forward to coming back to Zambia and seeing the magnificent victoria falls once again!

I stayed in this campsite for one night, I rented one of the deluxe walled tents, the linen was clean but the tent was filled with mosqitoes. It was a sleepless night as the constant buzzing of mosquitos left little room for sleep. The washrooms and showers were filthy and overcrowed. This campsite is a stop over camp for numerous... Bad experience. This place must not even been shown on the web!! When we arrived there, there was a church meeting next to our camping site. We were the only campers. Seems like the place is been rent out to locals and very unsafe. There were no other campers. No water. No privacy, Underfed dogs, gunshots. Terrible we moved out... More

We were welcomed by Tjisse and the welcome was very warm. We booked a deluxe campsite which comes with a private shower and toilet. Food was very nice, we loved the meals of Newton. Newton was a real charm, very polite and working hard indeed. Previous reactions might not take into consideration what the cost for this site is. Livingstone... More

This place is so bad the we did not even stay there! We picked the lodge from it's website and what you see online does'nt come even close to showing you how appalling the lodge actually is. When we arrived there were scrawny local dogs and chickens running through the reception area - not a good start! A quick walk... More

Where do I begin? I could not recommend less a hotel to stay at in Zambia than this poor excuse for a shabby run-down halfway house. I can say without victimisation that you visit this hole at the risk of a wasted tariff, a poor meal, uninformed service and a sleepless night. That is not to say the establishment is... More
