we reserved a sea view room and the room is spacious, we had a good sleep with the beds and pillows. but one thing we couldn't stand was the plastic slippers! they were smelly, although we requested to change another pairs, it didn't help at all! we had also tried the body massage in the hotel, we couldn't find the place although it was written in the flyer that it was on the M floor, it was not, some staff said on 4th but it was actually on 2nd! it was so-so and far not as professional as Bangkok! I have to particularly give credit to a young guy who served us at the breakfast time called 英日, his enthusiasm at work impressed us a lot, we love green lemon juice very much but on our check out day it was not serving in their beverage list, 英日 particularly made for us, what a lovely young guy! his enthusiasm made our day and leaves us a good memory in our stays in Da Nang!…

Unfortunately, when we arrived at our original hotel in Da Nang, we were informed their air conditioning was broken, so we needed to find alternative accommodation at short notice. Only a couple of places, including the Avatar Hotel, had a family room available, and the reviews seemed very good, so we booked for five nights, which was a big mistake. The initial welcome at reception was not very welcoming. I was greeted with "What's your confirmation number?" More on this later. Our room was huge but also barely furnished. The living area furniture consisted of a wooden bench with thin cushioning and a small coffee table. The space was entirely wasted. The rest of the room was not much better. The flooring was heavily scratched, and the shower attachment holder in the bathroom was broken and not adjustable. A leak in the bathroom ceiling meant we were forced to change rooms on our final night. Only a single room key card is provided, which is also required to operate the air conditioning. This means returning to the room after a long day out will be like entering a sauna. Breakfast options were limited, and the much-hyped Lobo cafe, while attractive, was deserted most of the time as there were plenty of alternative options locally. The non-reception staff were at least friendly, and the location was convenient. On the morning of checkout, I received an email from Booking.com saying my review for the Avatar Hotel had been posted. However, I had not written a review. At first, I couldn't understand how this could happen, as only guests are invited to review via email. Then I remembered that the hotel's first request on arrival was my booking reference number. I showed the receptionist my booking confirmation on my phone. She then took my phone from me "to check me in" and asked me to take a seat. The screen showed my booking confirmation page, including my PIN, which I found out should have been kept confidential as it enables anyone to write a review. Please don't share your Booking.com confirmation number and pin with this or any other hotel. The hotel does not need the information to check you in. I have reported the hotel to Booking.com, and they have reset the false review.…

I had a vacation with my friends last March at Avatar hotel. I have experienced here for 3 days, everything is great from food to drinks. The hotel has a beautiful view, so I had a lot of beautiful photos to upload to Instagram. At first, I was impressed by the name of the hotel, like the title of a movie I had watched. As I went there, I was even more impressed by the unique bamboo cafe space, which had a blend of classic and modern elements.
