Sitting on the best beach in Danang Non Nuoc and tuck in over 50-years old casuarina forest that offers “nature at its best”, Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort offers an ideal resort for those who look for peaceful getaway but yet within near to many vicinities. The resort is conveniently located just a 20-minute drive from Danang Airport and connects to Hoi An Ancient Town only 30 minutes and just a 15-minute drive to Danang city centre by daily shuttle service at a minimal fee. 198 rooms are spread out here falling into different categories ranging from luxurious, fully equipped suites to delightful, ocean-view bungalows that suit a wide range of customer needs from families, couples, to large groups of guests coming here for relaxation, team building, picnic, beach sports, conference, gala dinner or wedding and anniversary celebrations. The resort is also home to two restaurants and two bars. You can also try your hand at tennis or maybe at beach volleyball, kayaking, beach golf putting and golf driving range if you prefer spending your day beachside. The rooms and bungalows offer comfortable living space (from 32 to 92 square metres) and large picture windows that let the garden or seaward view become a dominant feature.

My title really says it all. Should have stayed in Hoi An, but do not regret our stay at Sandy Beach.
Hotel is large, we upgraded to a beach bungalo, the standard rooms were too dorm like, seperate from the building.
Breakfast is fantastic. Very Very good. The beach is to die for. HUGE. quiet, peaceful no locals. Outside the hotel, there is nothing...you'll need a $10 taxi ride to get to Hoi an.
Marble Mountain is about it, worth seeing, about 5 minutes from hotel. you'll need about 3-4 hours to explore.
Not too many smiles at this hotel, but as I said, I do not regret the stay.

It was very noisy with hotel room doors left open to share the noise, party music, unruly children running everywhere and playing in the lifts, smoking in the reception area and also in the outside area of the restaurant, etc. We did not see any member of staff stopping any of the above.

The lovely pool was blue on Friday and dark green by Monday. I even saw a guy walk with purpose to the swimming pool and bring up some phlegm and spit in it!!

This is a 4* hotel which is not up to international standards.

The staff were polite and helpful but need more support and training from management.

What a surprise this was - organised by the Hanoi Elegance Diamond Hotel. A little more pricey but you would be paying a lot more for the beach side resorts nearer to Hoi An. Only 20 minutes out of town and two shuttle bus services per day from the hotel to Hoi An made this stay a perfect way to get out of the hustle. It was easy to sit around the pool and beach for a day or two with no one to hassle you. Hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Danang. Don't be afraid to organise a tour of the sights in Danang with the local cyclo drivers - they are really friendly and will only take you where you want to go. You will hardly see any westerners here! Unfortunately english communication wasn't fantastic at the hotel - they could have promoted various tours a little better but we were very happy regardless. This place never felt crowded whereas we looked at some of the beach hotels nearer Hoi An which were absolutely packed.

The Sandy Beach hotel was a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An. I can only comment on the beach front bungalows which were fabulous. The staffs on the front desk, the restaurant staff, the lifeguards etc. were all extremely helpful and friendly. The food was generally good but we found that a lot of the times it was cool especially beverages, but that’s Vietnam. China beach must be one of the best beaches in the world but be careful, we were only allowed in the sea on one day out of four (rough). You could of course, of moved down or up away from the life guarded section but be extremely wary of the undertow. We tried the local restaurant down the beach, the food especially the prawns was to die for and cheap. Two gripes, firstly my wife broke one of the glasses in the room, cleared it up and told the housemaids. Next day we had a bill for £1:50 for a replacement! You could be half a dozen for that in Da Nang. Secondly, whilst relaxing on sun loungers one afternoon around the pool we were asked to move so they could prep the area for an evening function for a business seminar. Given prior warning that would have been fine, but out of the blue like that was not what you expect from a 4* hotel. Also, if you don’t like being hassled, give Marble Mountain a miss, especially when on foot. Overall we enjoyed the hotel and would stay again.

Wow, where do I start. After arriving at the hotel around 9:30PM we found ourselves entering a ghost town. After waiting at the lobby around 10mins we managed to find someone resembling a staff member in a room/office just behind the reception area. No need to mention we never had a door man collect our bags. After discussing the room rates etc we were taken to our room. There was no extra bed as requested, and 15minutes later we were carrying our own bed to the room, as we were told the staff had all gone home. Must say thats the first time i have experienced that sort of service from a 3 nevermind 4 star hotel, alas we thought we would not let this get to us and went straight to the restaurant for a much needed meal. Entering the ghost restaurant we were greeted by one lonely soul. After our experience of the hotel so far, we knew our waiter was most likely going to be our "chef" as well. The food reflected this. Their microwave worked. We woke up to a relatively good breakfast and had a swim in their beautiful pool by the beach. Unfortunately even the beautiful pool and beach was not enough to make us not run for the hills. The price of staying here was really crazy when comparing to other hotels, in the price range, we stayed in before and after staying there. You can do a lot better for even less money. This hotel needs a giant wake up call.

I organized an international conference for my work at the Sandy Beach Resort. I'm from Canada and we had delegates from all over the world attending the conference. I had never been to Vietnam before so I was really nervous about organizing an event there and if I could trust in the service provided by the tour operator who assisted me. I was very skeptical because Vietnam was so far out of my usual zone for these events. However, the Sandy Beach Resort was truly wonderful.
I arrived alone, 2 days before my colleagues and guests. I'm female so that also made me cautious about traveling alone. I had nothing to worry about. The manager at Sandy Beach met with me on my first day in Danang. He was excellent and provided numerous staff to help with my set up needs and other logistics.
The resort is not super fancy but it is beautiful and charming. It's not a western-style chain hotel. Instead, you'll have an authentic experience there. My room was very clean with an above-standard bathroom. The bed was hard, but I learned that is the custom in Asia and very typical of hotels there. It didn't bother me much as I had too many other, positive things to think about.
There is a fantastic, picturesque garden area between the hotel and the sea. You can walk in the manicured garden and sit on wooden swing benches, smell the flowered scent in the air and just relax. Beyond the garden you'll find a long, breathtaking stretch of white sand beach - China Beach. This was really lovely and my hotel room had a view of the ocean; an extra perk.
Maid service at the hotel was very good. They were prompt and almost overboard - coming to clean twice per day!
I was very pleased with the food at Sandy Beach Resort. They have a huge selection and cater to several cultural groups with the food.
If you're traveling on business or traveling for pleasure, Sandy Beach Resort will give you a lovely experience and something different than a typical North American hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. As an event planner I am very fussy about customer service at my venues so my standards are high. I don't expect anything to be perfect, but I do expect polite and friendly service with a clean and safe hotel. You'll get this at Sandy Beach Resort.
Also, the area near the hotel is excellent for touring. We went into Hoi An a couple of times and enjoyed that immensely. I would love to go back there again, and if I get the opportunity I will certainly stay at Sandy Beach Resort.

This is an unusual hotel, we arrived at 8pm and the hotel was empty. The room and sheets were damp and had a moldy smell. The hotel is tired and over priced for what it is.
The beach is lovely and was totally deserted, which is where we spent most of the day. Having planned to spend a few days there, we left in favour of a hotel down the road.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We had a regular room in the main building. It was nicely apportioned, spacious, and very clean. Also had a very nice ocean view. The property is right on the beach with plenty of shaded beach chairs. It also has an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. We found the poolside service to be excellent. We ate a couple of lunches and dinners during our stay and thought the food was adequate. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

The location itself is fairly isolated. The marble mountain is within walking distance, but not much else is. We rented a motorbike to cruise around and enjoyed a nice afternoon in Hoi An, which is a short drive away.

The resort wasn't too busy when we were there, so it felt like we had the place and the beach to ourselves, which we particularly enjoyed. This is definitely not a party spot and should be avoided if you are looking for your typical phuket resort scene. However, if you are looking for a comfortable place to lay around on the pool or beach without being bothered, while still having all of the comforts of a modern hotel, I'd highly recommend it.

Stayed in a beachside bungalow, beach is lovely and lives up to the name of the resort. You can wander unhassled for quite some way.

However, rest of resort is pretty average other than the nice garden environment.

Breakfast is pretty limited as indeed are all the menus. If you have dinner, the staff are pretty keen to see you off from the restaurant after dinner, continually reminding you of the closing time. This has happened to me twice at this resort on separate occasions. Not the place to come if you're a foodie !

Pool is not bad although its a wading not swimming pool.

Checkout was disappointing. They insisted on holding us 10 min after the bill had been paid until a room check had been completed. Doesn't exactly make you feel welcome.

This place is worth coming to for the beach bungalows only - far better priced than a room at say the Furama from which you may not even be able to see the sea, let along walk straight out to it. But apart from that, wouldn't recommend it.

Hi. In answer to your question there are great beaches just across the road from the resort and heaps of reasonably priced restaurants. There are a few shops, including tailors and small food markets. I hope this answer helps.

Times to DaNang are 9.30am, 11.00am and 4.30pm. Taxis back are about £5.50 metered. Hoi An was 1pm, 4pm and 6pm ish, trying to remember wish I had brought the flyer they give you when you arrive home! I'm pretty sure someone has taken a photo and posted it in traveller photos. In terms of meals I would say it's about £10 to £12 ish. There are a couple of restaurants which were lovely down the road to Marble Mountain which is about an 8 minute walk and a little Vietmart for groceries. It's not that remote if you use your legs a little bit. Or grab taxis I heard were super cheap, you would need to download the app I.e. use your data roaming, we didn't pre-arrange with Vodafone to add on extra data so we hired a moped for 5 days. 😁

Suite will be nicer as this is in the new building with Ocean View. While Villa will be more private and it is located on the ground floor. Have a good stay at the hotel. Cheers! Donald
