Very poor services of the hotel. No breakfast for Indian travellers. No fresh juice and no good coffee. Very poor hotel. Don’t stay here in this hotel . Rooms were vacant and still they don’t provide early checkin and trouble their customers.
You will have to move out of this hotel in the middle of the night, that's how bad it is. The expectation there is that you don't need to sleep. The hotel was completely empty when I checked in, and yet, on the second night they put 10 people nextdoor in a room for 2. Mind you, you will have to pay for a rollaway bed for your toddler, but 10 locals having a drunken party in a room for 2 is totally cool. They were literally plastered, drinking and yelling in the middle of the night. A few locals were camping out in front of my room door on the floor. Again, getting wasted and screaming. All of this in the middle of the night. When I called the front desk, they told me they had to sleep and didn't have time to deal with it, after which the guy hung up on me. Staff are rude and unprofessional, service is not a thing at this place. Meanwhile the party moved outside in front of my balcony (way to go to pay extra for the sea view!). The yelling and screaming continued. They were drunk out of their minds. One of the locals was urinating in front of my sea view balcony. Nothing major by local standards. I am surprised there are no goats running in the hallways of this hotel, that would be very fitting. After 3 hours of enduring the circus by my room and in front of the balcony, I called Amex Travel and they had to call the hotel a few times. Even then the hotel refused to move those drunken people elsewhere (again, 10 people staying in one room is not even legal). They did offer to move me to another room, so in the middle of the night I had to pack up all of my stuff and shlep it to a bungalow. Here the adventure continued. Not only the room was extremely old and shabby (the balcony door was jammed and wouldn't open), there was a layer of dust and dead insects on every surface. The room hadn't been cleaned for months. The bedding was ripped and stained, not sure if it was washed after previous guests, probably not. There was no hot water in the shower. The beach is littered with trash, plastic bottles and cans. The minibar wasn't stocked, but they did try to charge me for using it. Bottom line, stay away from this place as far as possible. This was the worst experience in Vietnam and ruined my vacation.…
This place has really gone down hill, service poor , food poor and was chased and accosted over a towel being dirty , save your money go elsewhere, lots of other choices where you will be valued as a customer in town
On arrival we were given what we thought was going to be a garden view room but was a tennis court view. We upgraded to sea view room which we were more happy with at $20 a night. The hotel is struggling from Covid but the staff never stop and always smiling. There was one bar open until 9pm and there is nothing around this hotel! Bars or restaurants ! so you need a grab or taxi to get to Danang city which took 20 mins and cost £10 each way. White we were at Sandy beach there was no shuttle bus available or pool activities pool bar or any entertainment because they were understaffed which I’m sure will improve as time goes on with more tourists visiting. The staff are very attentive to your needs I do hope they are up and running 100% soon so this can be once again a hotel at full capacity…
We were fortunate enough to go here just before the outbreak. The virus was somewhat effecting the tourism, as in there were very little of them in all of Da Nang, but also in our hotel. This, of course, was good for us. The hotel area is beautiful. The pool areas were very nice (we spent most of our time on the one closer to beach) We ordered snacks and ice coffees from the pool bar / restaurant almost daily (due to the fact that there is literally no restaurants within walking distance) and fortunately they were good. The gym is less than basic, but better than nothing. Tennis was fun! Beach was beautiful, but the ocean is quite violent, so don't dream of relaxed swimming there. Instead enjoy the good side of livid ocean, and go surfing! The hotel has a shuffle service, which was not free but cheap. The rides to the few destinations given took quite long, but definitely worth the trip. Visit old town! If I'd ever go to Da Nang, this would be my hotel for sure!…
Spent 2 nites at Ocean front bungalow ( free upgrade from Garden view) . Enjoyable retreat with a beautiful garden , huge premises including casuarina like shadowy forest at the entrance. Absolutely great location with Marble Mountains within 7 mins walk at resort's back and stunning coastline stretching for good 15 km both sides right at the threshold of its bungalows. The images of the rising sun , locals walking, doing meditations and bathing at the distance from 4:30 am on, fishing boats floating in the early morning glade to contemplate from Centara s premises are hypnotizing and full of local colour. The garden is home to singing birds , prospering there in abundance. Even saw a guest bringing his own bird in cage to stay with him at the bungalow and the birdie definitely enjoyed)) Very well trained staff , always ready to walk extra miles. Sending my huge thank you to Ms Thuong from front desk for the warm and cheerful welcome and assistance during our stay! Hope to get back there soon! …
I went to Danang with my friends. The first couple nights we stayed in another hotel which was not great. It was even more expensive there. Then we switched the hotel to Centara, we all found it surprisingly good and cheap !!! Very clean, spacious room, great view of the beach and pool. Great service !!! I would definitely recommend this resort. However, I do find the breakfast options limited. Hopefully they could provide more options in the future.
nice resort , we had a garden view room in a duplex bungalow which was fine for us , we were there at the start of the virus situation so resort was very quite did not have to worry about sun beds and most of the time we had it all to our self, breakfast was great plenty of choices to please every body , room was fine for our needs and had great internet connection , plenty of different types of rooms to choose from, had dinner one night at the pool bar and it was not good at all. put clothes washing in and there was a big problem in getting it back, but they did not end up charging us and be warned washing is very expensive at this resort, beach was great resort in general was well looked after, marble mountain close by
This is a very good resort, grounds / staff etc are excellent. We would visit again. The resort is a distance from the city/ other amenities but this means that the resort is very peacefully and quiet.
