When I first booked my trip to Da Nang I was a bit skeptical of the hotel arrangements due to my knowledge of Asian hotel rating standards I have experienced. My trip was incredibly inexpensive for return flight from Hong Kong as well as the included two nights at Stay Hotel. Upon arrival I was greeted by the concierge and he promptly unloaded my luggage and set them inside the door. I was then greeted by the desk staff of whom were quite friendly and delightful young ladies. I was very much impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the hotel lobby. Once I had arrived at my room I was surprised at the size as most hotel rooms in Asia are quite small and cramped. Very clean, very spacious and the wifi was fat as home. I will most definately stay with them during future trips to Da Nang.

I stayed here for 7 months and it became almost my second home. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable, and the views are amazing. Especially the big showers are very nice, after a hard day work. The friendly staff made me feel welcome and comfortable, and i felled like a special guest. Also the extra services are very good. I rented a motorbike and every day we ordered lunch which was always good. I will come back for sure.

The bar was nice. Over priced of course but still nice. Unfortunately you can't get cognac by the glass, but you can for most other things. Complimentary coated nuts and a tall glass for beer added a nice touch. Staff friendly, although very limited English and ALWAYS fishing for tips.
I had a pleasant experience and would say it would be a nice place to relax and enjoy a cold beverage before going out exploring.

Stay Hotel was the worst hotel for my entire Vietnam trip. Breakfast was worthless, no variety at all. Fruits were old. The executive suite has no shower can you believe no shower. The rooms were smelly. The overall experience was a nightmare.

During my stay in Da Nang i lived for 12 weeks in this hotel. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and everywhere in the hotel is a perfect wifi connection. In the morning there is a good breakfast buffet with a big variety of choices. Also the food in the restaurant is very nice. The hotel is close to all the good restaurants and the city center. The most places you can reach within 5 or 10 minutes by car or motorbike. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. For me this is one of the best hotels i stayed in!

For the price, I thought Northern was quite a good hotel. Yes, when I stayed there, they had not yet finished the spa and the service was inconsistent. But having stayed in over a dozen hotels throughout Vietnam, that's to be expected and quite typical for any new-ish hotel in VN.
Breakfast was fine (who wants to eat hotel food anyway in VN!), location is decent (for food you can walk to Dong Duong or Luna, both good), and it's not in the busiest part of town, which I think is a plus. Besides, it's easy to get a taxi except for really late at night.
By the way, as I mentioned service was hit or miss, but I had great service at the front desk from Ms. Tuyen (no idea if she still works there). She was quite pleasant and helpful.
In summary, if you're looking for a newly built hotel with decent amenities at a good price, then I think Northern could be the right place for you. If you are looking higher end, you will have to pay quite a lot more. Thanks for reading.

Nice place to stay. Ms Giang of Sales was excellent in providing information to nearby shopping and food location and tourist information. The room was comfortable and clean. It not that far to the Han market and pubs. Grab can be easily accessible.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and I honestly wished I could stay longer in Danang. The rooms were large, luxurious, extremely comfortable, and clean! I liked that the floors were wood, I have pretty bad allergies and older hotels with carpet tend to set them off. I was able to use the wifi in my room! This is huge because all the other hotels that I stayed at in Vietnam had no wifi in the rooms and only in the common areas. They provided slippers and bathrobes. The shower was a rain shower head and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean. We had a pretty good view of the city from our room. My only issue with this hotel is their power outages. During my 2 night stay, we experienced 3 power outages that resulted in my family having to walk up15 flights of stairs to get to our room. Thank goodness they all happened during the day, otherwise the room would have been a nightmare to navigate in total darkness. I called down to the front desk during each power outage and the girl told me that it would be fixed in 5 mintues, that usually carried on for another 30 minutes to an hour. The longest we had to wait was an hour and a half. Imagine being stuck in the elevator for that long! The power outage issue really detracted from my stay, it was very inconvenient to walk up and down 15 flights of stairs especially after walking all over the city, all day long. I would recommend this hotel, but you should probably check if they've fixed their power issues before you book.

Dear AP_Globetrotter84, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I'm delighted that you enjoyed our well-appointed accommodations, beautiful views and amenities. However, Please accept my sincere apologize for the power outage you experienced on your 2 night at the hotel without any notice. This issue is rarely happen in Danang city unless in emergency situation. As you stated, our power generator are undergoing a complete installation to enhance our guests' experience it could be finish within 5 minutes time ( just switch on/off from City Power member), unfortunately it took more than that due to some issue with city power. This issue had been fixed completely afterwards and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Again, I apologize for the negative impression you were left with and hope you'll give us another chance to welcome you back in near future. Regards, Tam Duong Tran Thanh Tam

Only stayed here one night but it was great!! Huge variety at the breakfast buffet. The pool and gym facilities were brand-new. The hotel was able to negotiate with a driver to take us to the Marble Mountains and beaches for the day. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful!! When we arrived, the portiere ignored us, which is ok, but the check in went fast and quite smooth. Our roomed smelled awful from all the detergents and cleaning stuff, so we had to open a window for the rest of the afternoon/night. The hotel is a bit out dated and quite old but tries to keep up the 4-star standard, which they don't succeed with. Ok beds, ok tv and a bathtub for a change, but still, not that great well maintained during the years. The view from our floor was still beautiful. The breakfast was the worst we had since we came to Vietnam and this was the first timeI had a regular sandwich and coffee for breakfast – only, since there was nothing else to eat – more or less. We came to the restaurant 20 minutes before they closed, but the kind of stared us out and took our plates as soon as we put our fork & knifes (or whatever) down on the plates, so we felt like they wanted to get us out of there asap. Not the best feeling… It takes about 20 - 30 minutes to walk to Vincom plaza and the "first" bridge, which is a quite good walk along the river bank.
