Traveling from Australia, we wanted to book this hotel for several days stay during the 1st week of April 2019. When we arrived, we stayed 1 night only instead of 6. This hotel was completely empty and look depressing inside. bed mattresses were very rough, our room was basic and dirty. The security guy was impolite and acted aggressively on a few occasions. The receptionist was asking personal financial questions and refused to take our credit card for the payment, only cash. During our stay, we spoke with some local Vietnamese living nearby and they told us that the manager Miss Ly and her staff were stealing and telling lies to people to make more money. We searched the internet by typing ¨Grand mango hotel miss ly¨ and we found a website talking about the manager and what she does. We are not surprised by what we read, because our 1 day stay was not nice at all. We decided to go elsewhere and we had a very nice time.…
I have never written a poor review before. We arrived late, I called ahead so they knew our flight was delayed. Security guard was sleeping on a cot in the lobby. He let us in. I can only assume our room had not been used in a bit. Bed was clean, however floor was so dirty we left footprints walking around the room. There wasn’t even a roll of toilet tissue or facial tissue anywhere to be seen. (No staff except the sleeping security guard). The neighbors arrived back at 3:30am. It was so loud I thought they were entering our room. Breakfast was only local food. It was simply ok. The young lady at the front desk was very nice, she saved the whole review.
This hotel is great value for money and situated close to the beach and eateries. The rooms are pleasant, bright, the beds are comfortable and clean. We stayed 2 nights and found the staff always very friendly, they spoke adequate English and were cheerful and helpful. There is also a good breakfast buffet. We really liked the location, one block back from the main beach, looking over a nice green park at the front. There are plenty of places very close by where you can eat or have a coffee. We would certainly stay here again.
Room was clean and comfy, if a bit small. Pluses: - Security person at the door was very sweet. - There was a gecko in the room, which meant no insects. - Breakfast was adequate...warm food, as well as fruit. You can request other foods to be made like soup, fried eggs, or pancakes. - Staff in the breakfast room were nice. Minuses: - They held on to our passports til the next morning. I’ve never been to a hotel that did that. They usually just take it for a minute. When I questioned it, all the person said was that they do that for all guests.
Great hotel in Da Nang. Nice rooms, clean, comfortable, big bathroom. Great breakfasts like dinners in the morning! Close to the beach if you fancy. Really good prices when booking in advance. Great service and helpfull staff in the lobby. Highly recommended this place
We stayed here just for one night as we landed late into Da Nang airport (15 mins drive and 90,000 VND). Extremely limited English spoken by all staff which made things very difficult. This hotel is clean and our room was very spacious although wouldn't recommend staying here longer than 1 night or if you're a solo traveller.
stay there for 2 nights with my family.Room is a bit dated but it was very clean. This is very good location with only 300 m to the main street. It near every amenities what we need like restaurant and convenience stores.
As described this hotel has a great location when it is sunny! In the pouring rain the location becomes less of a plus in that the hotel is in the middle of a building site which is slowly seeing the demise of local bars and restaurants - and there is nothing else by wau of shops other than small grocery shops. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished - with constant hot water. Room service is adequate. Staff are friendly and attentive - and most helpful with requests for advice and help. Breakfast is only adequate given all the local fruits available. Late sleepers won't once as the exercise musicin the nearby park starts early - like 0545.
The Grand Mango Hotel sits about 300meters across the main road and up a side street from the beaches in DaNang. Hard to eat for beach access and even harder to beat for service at the price. The desk staff speak excellent English making for a quick and simple check in process before offering me advice and booking assistance for day trips and activities and transport. The included breakfast has a buffet of mostly eastern-style but international breakfast choices plus an a la carte menu with omelets and pho. Everything was very good and the service again excellent. The rooms are standard size with nice bathrooms. Beds are Asian-style firmness. I was on an upper floor and had a great view out over the beach. As a family-style hotel and in the middle of domestic tourism season it was quite busy. I could occasionally hear the other room around me but everyone was courteous about quieting down after dark and I was lucky in being up high where the street noise was no issue. Great stay. Recommend whole-heartedly. …
Every staff are so kindly and friendly. All staff were hepled us.During my stay, there're no problem. We enjoyed perfect vacation.
