Detailed Reviews
The Salem Riverside Hotel overlooks the Han River which gives some beautiful views, especially as the sun goes down and the bridge lights come on. The staff are good here friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is worth getting up for. It is a 2 km walk to the beach, but ask at reception and they can sort out transport for you.

We stayed for one night to watch the DIFF 2018 on the roof top. That was great. Room was fine but no safe in the room. Staff is friendly but service was so so. Check-in took sometime and had to ask the receptionist if the rooms are ready. As for check-out, the staff has to check to see if any items that are not free was used. Check out also to another 30 minutes. Had to ask the receptionist if they have finished checking and they had to radio their staff to ask them again to check the room. Although it took some time to check out, they did find the headphone we left. Thank you for that. Anyways, they need improvement in the process of their Check-in and out of their customers.

Started with a bit of a hiccup on check in and first day of accommodation. On checking in, we had 2 rooms. One of the rooms wasn’t going to be available till 5pm (arrived at 1.30) due to some sort of power failure.
They even had power problems with the lift as when I called the lift on the 7th floor, nothing happened. I had to call my friends on the 4th floor to send the lift up. Happened a few times.
Once all this had been sorted. The stay was comfortable especially the bed. Breakfast was fine and the staff did their best to solve any problems.

The hotel location is strong, view on the river and quite central in the city. Da Nang is an interesting City: clean beaches which are'nt over crowded, a large variety of restaurants types and enough places of interest to make a stay worthwhile for a couple of days, that is, when you stay there as a tourist.
The hotel interior has a nice layout, interesting restaurant space which is used for breakfast only and events every now and than. We witnessed the Huawei event. The standard rooms and bathrooms are good, are kept very clean but not realy nice decorated (painted in a dull color, but this is personal).
The strongest asset of the hhotel is its staff, very dedicated to give service, going as far as bringing one on motorbike to a railway station and helping to buy the train tickets. Whe had a problem with one room and they granted us another one on short notice. My wife and me quickly made friends, especially in the breakfast restaurant. Yes, thhis makes Salem Riverside Hotel very good.

The Salem Riverside Hotel is located close to the Han river and is a 10min walk away from the Dragon Bridge. The airport is 15min away by taxi. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast buffet offers a lot of different Vietnamese dishes but make sure not to show up at the end of the breakfast time because they don’t refill the dishes. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

What you see on their website or booking.com has nothing to do with the reality. Very basic accommodation, services as you stay in a hostel. When I’ve closed the bathroom door a glass that was on the wall broke- good that I was exiting the bathroom as I could be in the hospital now! They don’t provide any iron so you have to pay every time you need to iron. Also most of the personnel doesn’t speak English and communication is quite difficult. Location is not perfect as you need to order always grab to commute.
Don’t recommend at all.

We were here just for one night, but it was just perfect. They were Lovely staff, couldn’t speak much English but we made it work and The bell boy was awesome. They didn’t offer room service which isn’t a big deal. The rooms are very new and nice as is the hotel.

The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and new. The view from the balcony is quite good. The staff at the hotel are EXTREMELY polite and friendly.
The only down side is that restaurants and stores are a bit of a walk away.

Nice Morden rooms with balcony. I stay there for 2 nights. I can say it's worth. Only thing if there is nice lobby it would be great. Friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing. Very close to restaurants, shopping mall and great view of river.
