We booked three nights and added on an extra night. The room is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately we had to witness a power outage - we were told that they had power enough for us to use the fan, but it didn't work, so it was a hard and sweaty night. We got new water almost every day, and out of four night the bed was made once (which doesn't matter for us). The food they make for breakfast is very good. All in all a pleasant stay.

For conclusion, I absolutely choose this again for my next trip to Hoi An. At this time, we book one 35 m2 room for 4 persons. The room is very modern and clean, well equipped with flat screen TV, fridge, 2 king size beds. It is 10 minutes cycling to the old quarter. It has no elevator, so it is a bit hard to carry your luggage to the upper floor.

I recently posted a review of one guesthouse in Vietnam as "the best place to stay in Vietnam", in Mui Ne. Don't get me wrong, i still strongly agree that it was the best place to stay in Mui Ne! But this homestay beats even that one with it's one of a kind hospitality. In Hoi An this is the place to stay! For us it became the best place we have stayed in Vietnam. Let me tell you why. We arrived in Hoi An with a sleeping bus at around 4am. It took a while for us to find the place because it does not have the name "Milano Homestay" anywhere, but when we found it and knocked the door (looks like a garage door), the girls let us in and immediately said that we could no problem stay at the lobby even tho they would go back to sleep. They even paid the shady motorbike driver who ""showed us this place"" (did not, we didn't ask for his help and we found the place ourselves) to go away when he demanded payment for his "assistance". The check-in time is at 2pm, and the room for us was occupied until that so we couldn't understandably go there yet. We tried to spend time playing cards but we were still obviously very tired and K fell asleep on the wooden bench. The ladies came to offer us their OWN bed to go sleep in until the check-in. In how many guesthouses or homestays have you had that when you arrived early? On that same morning they offered us breakfast, which was included at the price but would've only started the next morning of the actual stay as far as we understanded - since we were not even checked in yet. The breakfast was so good and one of the best we've had on our travels! Rooms are bright and clean (we had ours facing to the river), big and perfectly working flatscreen TV, fridge and good bathroom. We really, really enjoyed our stay there. Every morning you get amazing breakfast, and the staff's hospitality is truly genuine and one of a kind. THE place to stay in Hoi An.

Stayed for one night, the room was nice and the beds were comfy but there was an overpowering smell in the room. It was potent and gave me a headache and every time you enter the room it hits you again. However, the motorbike rental was one of the best bikes I have used in Vietnam and reasonably priced. The shower changes from hot to cold rather fast. Also there was a cockroach on the stairs in the hallway. Overall not bad and the staff are friendly but definitely needs to have the smell sorted.
