Lovely old hotel, in a spread out location surrounding the pool area. There are lots of up and down stairs to and from your room. We were on the 3rd level and they are built on tiers. The room was spacious with lots of cupboard space. Good size bathroom however ours had a shower over the bath and the bath... More

We stayed at Ancient House while on a group tour of Vietnam. Quaint hotel, lovely garden, nice little pool, clean big rooms. Somewhat hard beds but that is nothing unique for this hotel. Note that this hotel has no lift and there are lots of stairs everywhere so if you have problems with that you may want to stay somewhere... More

This hotel was stunning in its quiet setting, walkways, trees and plants - so peaceful and beautiful. Excellent staff, helpful and responsive, even when they did not speak English (if they didn't understand they would find someone who did). Great restaurant and bar. Far enough away from crowds of Ancient Quarter but a short walk or shuttle to get there.... More

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and had 2 connecting rooms. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. There was a shower, a big bathtub, double sinks and a separate toilet. On the downside the matresses are very hard and the aircon wasn't working that well in our room. We would wake up in the middle of the night... More

This hotel was a welcome oasis from the busier downtown Hoi An. Staff were extremely friendly and highly attentive. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Ancient House is very clean and quiet with tranquil gardens. Delicious food and great service. Would definitely stay here again. Patty and Shirley

This resort hotel is very good. Pool and spa is quality. Happy hour 3.300-5.30 two drinks for the price of one. The restaurant has extensive menu with local and western options. The rooms are large with balconies and views and nice cool air conditioning. The location is 3km from the beach 1km from town but many local bars and cafes... More

We felt welcomed like family from our arrival. They immediately gave us juice, fresh watermelon and cool refreshing scented face towels (so needed in the heat). The staff were attentive and kind but not intrusive . We were there in low season so there were only a few guests. The free shuttle into town ran frequently with an air conditioned... More

We stayed here for four nights, we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 219 which was huge, a lovely big cement bath and separate toilet and separate shower. (Which some rooms only have a bath with the hand nozzle for a shower. Very hard to hold shower nozzle and wash hair at the same time,... More

Spent two days here during our travels through Vietnam. When they showed us our room we were so happy, beautiful spacious room with all commodities. Bathroom had a large tub, big enough to fit us both. Every evening they delivered some fruit and drinks. Pool was large enough to take a dive, staff was available at all times. Free bikes... More
