After a few hiccups with our 1st room, the extremely helpful front desk staff moved us to a better one. The resort is very clean and the pools are both lovely. Sadly the beach was damaged in the 2022 typhoon, the government have done some work to repair it, but it's no longer looking like the photos. Breakfast is superb with lots of choices. The resort is very quiet (as is the town) and has yet to recover to pre covid tourism numbers (2022/3 is -90% on 2019). Be aware that not all the advertised resort bars are open as a result. However, there are loads of bars and restaurants very near the hotel.

The staff were amazing, friendly and they would. do anything for you. They made our 18th Wedding Anniversary very special. The location of the hotel is not far from the Old Quarter. The room is clean and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The view of the river was nice and relaxing, watching the fisherman. I'm hoping to be back soon. I recommend the cooking class.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the beach and nature. There were initial problems with our rooms but the staff efficiently resolved them with genuine care. The beach was a disappointment but the pool was terrific and more than made up for this. There were 2 pools to choose from. We were very impressed by the meals and the staff who put a lot of effort to make sure we had a relaxing holiday. The location right beside the river is fabulous alongside the infinity pool and greenery. A highlight of the trip was a trip to the market via boat followed by private cookery class at hotel. Staff were knowledgeable, generous and we loved this class! We hope to come back very soon.

The hotel is exact what is expected from a four star hotel in its price bracket. It is clean, the bed is comfortable and the pool is nice. There is the usual buffet breakfast which is fine. The hotel is looking old and tired with missing tiles in our room and old mouldy lounges next to the pool. The hotel is on the main road running along the beach, so there is quite loud traffic noise when lying around the pool and from the small balcony attached to our room. Across the busy road is the hotel beach. Your opinion of it will depend upon the standard of other beaches you have seen. For us it wasn’t very nice. The sand is dirty, there is minimal rubbish and a very tired set if sun lounges and what looked like an old bar which wasn’t in use. The best aspect of the resort was the lovely pool in front of the river. The view of the river is nice. As it’s wet season all of the beaches were closed to swimming. There are signs prohibiting swimming. Reviews of the beaches and photos vary wildly, so I have attached the photos I took walking from the hotel beach down to An Bang beach. Next time overall a good resort for its price point.

The quality of the hotel matches it’s lower to mid range price for a resort. It’s a typical mid level Asian resort. The hotel is on a main road that runs along the beach. As I write this I am lying around the pool and I can hear loud traffic noise. It’s the same from the small balcony off our room, so ask for a room away from the road noise. The room is very clean and while getting a little tired, nice. Our safe was broken but it was replaced and the aircon isn’t fabulous. It’s definitely adequate. The breakfast is typical for a mid level resort. A large buffet. The pool is lovely but there is loud traffic noise, no drinks or food service (go inside to order and they will bring out your order). The lounges around the pool are disgusting. I have attached photographs. The food is resort prices and average. Again typical for a mid level to cheaper resort. There is a shuttle bus. It has to be ordered two hours in advance and stops at 6pm. Grab taxis are 90 000 dong/A$7 each way. There are bikes but the road is quite busy with scooters. Others have attached photographs of the beach with the rubber sandbags. There is a small fairy run down bar at the hotel beach. The hotel is good for its price point. Very clean, except for the mouldy pool lounges and the main downside is that the traffic noise takes away from the setting. Overall you get exactly what you pay for and your judgment of its quality depends upon whether you have stayed at more expensive higher quality resorts that are not a bit tired and run down in places.

Beautiful Hotel with two nice tempered pools and the beach and the river as the closest neighbor. We had a taste of their food and it was the best beef noodles my husband had tasted. The drinks you get by the pool was amazing (we recommend the Hoi an beach special). Fresh fruit and all you could want for breakfast. The staff are all lovely and super friendly. If you have any problems they will do everything to make you happy and the manager is amazing!

The resort is getting a little tired. Small things like cracked tiles and the broken balcony light were a bit disappointing. We booked the resort as it had a swim up bar - well in the photos it had a swim up bar - but the swim up bar was no longer operating. For a holiday resort this is a big problem. The shuttle bus to the old town is limited and (if you are not aware) must be booked - both ways!
