All aspects of this hotel are great. The rooms are excellent - especially seperate garden view, Riverview and ocean view rooms near second pool. (have stayed in all of these , been there a few times) All other aspects good - breakfast included, pools , adjacent beach, nearby restraunts Price up a bit at about AU$113 per night but easily worth it and obviously better the some others we paid about AU$70 per night for.
The worst resort I have ever been too Its run down , smells, toilet leaks , tatty unkept, beach part all rusty sunbeds scruffy . Absolutely would not recommend to stay . The pictures are probably from when it first opened. definitely not like that now. Should be reported for false advertising. I felt sorry for the poor staff having to put up with complaints. Hoi An is fabulous but this resort lets it down. No stars
Stayed for month of February sat Hoi An Beach Resort. Excellent resort, great food, outstanding staff, comfortable rooms, and two beautiful pools. Hoi An Beach Resort has a wonderful beach fronting the South China Sea on one side and a river flowing on the other side of the property. The staff makes visitors feel like they are part of their families.
Me and my wife went for our honeymoon here, this was our first visit to Vietnam. The staff is really nice and helpful, they extended us early check-in. Since it was our honeymoon visit they decorated the room and gave us a good view room. The location is really nice with a private beach on one side and a river on the other side. Also located close to old town (10 minutes ride) which is the best part. Breakfast is okay, and other food item we tried could have been better. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who would prefer a cozy vacation.
Absolutely loved the hotel! Despite the weather. The price was very cheap for the quality, we had a riverview which was absolutely the best decision, both with the view and because it was windward (it blows from the ocean). I asked if a ground floor room towards the river was available (I thought maybe the room with the river in the backyard would be perfect), it was not, but they were very accommodating and said I could check the next day. In the end, I decided not to try to change, as the view from the balcony is also very good. It was a perfect area, there were restaurants, massage, shops close by and if the weather had been better, we would have enjoyed the beach (it might have previously been washed away, but has been restored(?), it has a good width and looked very inviting with loungers from the hotel and restaurants), unfortunately it was too cold and windy. The main pool was great the day the sun shone (protected from the wind). The staff was very good to put out towels, even on rainy days. The cleaning, reception, breakfast restaurant, all were good and efficient. We really loved the breakfast on the balcony over the river, very romantic. And the free bikes were what made this hotel amazing. We used them almost every day to go into town, eat and shop, the road is flat and not all that much traffic, so biking among the ricefields was nice. Biking along the coast was not very interesting, since the road is boring and with the windy weather the beach places and beach was not much fun. It does state that you should return the bikes by 18.00 on the paper you get, but we pretended we hadn't seen that and nobody said anything. This is for us is what makes a 6-star hotel. It is being open to requests/wishes from guests, that could potentially be a big deal to that person. For us, if we had not had that freedom to go into town, conveniently and whenever we wished, we would have felt at bit trapped (especially as the weather was not really beach-weather and this is a beach resort/area). We stayed at another hotel on Phu Quoc, where the staff every time told us to have the bikes back by 18.00 (and by the way, we always travel with lights for bikes), that hotel was not within walking distance of a village, and we felt rather trapped, forced to stay and eat at the resort. There is also a shuttle, which actually has a timetable that is convenient for going for dinner in town (18.00 return 21.00), which was also really great. The lights on the porch has to be turned off by maintenance? But reception quickly fixed that. It is possible that if it had been high-season and the hotel had been full, we would not have loved the hotel quite so much. One evening, there was a wedding, with karaoke under the open sky, it was like standing beside the very big speakers. But we came back late and when asked, the reception said the wedding would end at 10.00, which was in two minutes, and it did. So for us, because/despite of the season, everything was great and perfect!…
We stayed for7 nights and received outstanding service for everyting. Quiet location near beach. We had a late night train ride and they were so kind to give a room to rest in before our 10pm pickup. Highly recommend Gerry Yurkoski/Liz Klemm
Have booked 5 nights but stayed for 12 nights. Everything was perfect. Clean, fantastic service, delicius breakfast, beatiful place, nice beach just across the road. Two big clean pools with sunbeds, hammocs, towels. Everything was maintained and looked after. We had a perfect stay.
Very friendly staff food nice little expensive but that’s hotels, rooms very clean pools clean etc only down side is a bit dated and could do with a refurb but you have to take into account the devastation covid caused, saying that we spend 8 days there and I would go back,
Large room with great views overlooking the River. After 5 days riding motorcycles this was the perfect place for some rest. Comfy beds and soft towels. Amazing choice for breakfast. Very attentive staff. Would recommend ✔️
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice. Starting to show its age abit but overall a nice place. Rooms are spacious and beds were comfortable We were there just after a typhoon so the whole area was abit of a shambles but everyone was working to clean it up
