We were lucky enough to stay 11 nights in a two bedroom villa at Orchid Garden and had the most amazing time! Thank you so much to Flower, Sarah and all the wonderful staff who cooked our yummy brekkies (our boys couldn’t get enough of the shakes!), kept the pool and grounds beautiful, and supplied us with fresh towels and maintained clean rooms. The girls were only two happy to assist with arrangements and recommendations along the way which just made our trip even more perfect :) Otherwise we just borrowed the free bikes and easily made our own way around.... Orchid Gardens is in a perfect location for exploring the old town, the beaches and all the many eateries.

From the moment we arrived, we were so pleased with the choice to stay here. Greeted by Flower (a lovely host) she served us fresh juice and pancakes whilst she gave us a map and talked us through places to visit. Our villa was upstairs with a balcony, sitting room, 2 bathrooms (!) and a beautiful bedroom with a large, traditional wooden bed. So peaceful to sleep. We took the free bikes everyday, cycling 20 minutes through the paddy fields to An Bang beach (great beach, restaurants and sunbeds) or 5-10 minutes to the Old Town - lock them up and just wander! Flower recommended Ylang Ylang spa - we went 3 times in a week - excellent! Restaurant recommendations also great! Grounds are beautiful - so many flowers and lovely pool. Breakfast choices excellent and cooked to order - tried lots and all lovely! Would never stay anywhere else in Hoi An. Sarah and Flower so friendly and caring too. Thank you!

My brother and sister in law recommended Hoi An Orchid Gardens after their last Vietnam trip. From the moment we arrived in Da Nang, the service was second to none. A car was waiting to transport us even though our flight had been delayed, then cold drinks for us while we were checked in and settled into our rooms. We were due to have only 4 days in Hoi An before flying out to other areas. We enjoyed Orchid Gardens and Hoi An so much, we extended our stay to 10 days. Flower and Sarah were extremely welcoming and could not do enough for us, even to Sarah booking our flight out from Danang when were due to leave. Their charming and personal service was a main reason we stayed. We loved their recommendations for the spa treatments so much we went twice. We enjoyed the beautiful breakfasts overlooking the lovely gardens, full of orchids and natural beauty. The pool was extremely clean and very welcome after warm days walking and touring and we used it nearly every day. Our rooms (we were upgraded at no extra cost when we extended our stay) were very attractive and clean, functional and the beds were also very comfortable. The showers were great and the air conditioners worked well. We were invited to a lovely dinner, where we able to really enjoy the local cuisine. Everything is nearby, if not a walk, a mere taxi ride away or you can borrow a bike for free. Sarah and Flower will always book a taxi for you. There is an ATM next door for convenience. As other have said, while not 5 star in luxury, it is definitely 5 star in service. We loved the serenity of Orchid Gardens compared to the hustle and bustle of old town and sincerely recommend it. We hope to return one day.

This place was recommended to us by a relative who stayed a few years ago. I booked but then read recent reviews and was panicked that maybe the place had deteriorated since the relative stayed. There was no reason to worry! From the moment we arrived in Da Nang, the service was second to none. A car was waiting to transport us, then cold drinks for all of us while we were checked in and settled into our rooms. Rooms are HUGE (we had an adjoining one with king bed + 2 singles for the kids, and then a separate twin room for two teenagers). It is a small villa that means fewer people, so more personable service. We used the pool every day. The breakfasts were amazing (lemon pancakes were my favourite). Nothing was ever a problem for the staff. We borrowed (free) bikes and rode into town and out to the countryside. We had them book restaurants and taxis for us and they could organise tours if you like. They exchanged money too. Air conditioners are efficient and the shower pressure was great. The TVs weren't the best but who's watching TV when there's a town to explore? It is a little way out of The Old Town, which means a 20-minute walk in. It can be a drag with kids on hot days but a shuttle or taxi ride is only a couple of dollars (50,000 VND). We also rode in along the river which was lovely. Restaurants, mini-marts, tailors, shoe shops, massage/spa salons and the rest are not far away. It is incredible value - and although it is not 5 star in luxury, it is 5 star in service. The owner invited all patrons to a dinner one night, provided by them. It was a generous offer, a great way to taste authentic Vietnamese food and to get to know the other people staying there. The two females managing the venue spoke competent English and were always obliging when help or recommendations were required. If you want a smaller establishment with personalised service, a quieter location than the craziness of the busy tourist streets, then this is your place! Thank you for having us. we hope to be back again one day soon.
