Pros: Checked into the hotel and was straight away treated extremely well by Sophie. Hotel was clean and had great facilities. Room was spotless and well appointed. All staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous. Breakfast selection was also very good. Location was a casual 5min walk to the centre of old town Cons: I believe the pool area could do with a little more atmosphere during the day. Also at the time of staying there , a super typhoon was heading towards Hoi An, the hotel were pretty relaxed about it and didn’t issue any real information about it, just that a storm was coming. Critical information in relation major weather events that could potentially impact tourists should be explained. The fact that the are a way of life for many Vietnamese people, for tourist they are not. All in all, great hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend and stay there again…
Hidden in a quiet street less than 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. Fabulous, friendly staff who are always willing to assist with any request or query. Lovely pool area, plenty of options for breakfast. This is our second stay at this hotel and it definitely will not be our last.
Beautiful, quirky hotel with delicious food and exceptional service! Right in the smack of the city yet hidden enough to not hear any loud city noises. Close to everything worth seeing in Hoi An and also shopping. Great concierge service! We had Nancy who recommended activities, restaurants and shops daily, helped us book everything and always made sure we’re happy. Highly highly recommended
This hotel is gorgeous, old world style and just a stones throw from the old town. Friendly pool that gets sun til the late afternoon and plenty of sun loungers. Our host Nancy was simply gorgeous, very knowledgable and never failed to offer fine tips about getting out and about in Hoi an, and shout out also to pool staff Eric, who was amazing at remembering just how we liked our drinks. We had 2 adjoining rooms for our teen children which were well appointed with all amenities needed. True 5 star hotel. Food was plentiful at breakfast and had mix of local dishes and western. A truly special place. I dont think it will be long before we return :)
Good large rooms, staff very helpful and attentive, always there when you want them to be . The majority of staff are multi lingual. Great atmosphere, pool and happy hour. Very close to old city, about 5minutes walk. Can recommend to anyone.
We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. Hotel is not right at the ancient town but still within walking distance. Love the big tub and the ancient water taps fixture which is easy to use. Room is spacious and well decorated. They even have the old rotary phone. Staff are all friendly and helpful. From Front desk to the cafe and the spa, all are well trained.
Hoi An is renowned for its lovely boutique hotels and the Allegro Hoi An must be one of the nicest of all of them. The hotel is located in a quiet street right on the edge of the Old Town and it takes only minutes to walk to the major tourist attractions near the river. The hotel itself is in a lovely building that is in top condition and very clean. As soon as you walk in you can tell that the maintenance and housekeeping staff do a great job. Our Little Suite was well appointed and very comfortable. All the staff we met during our visit were friendly and highly professional (including the charming Nancy and Sophie from guest relations) and had no difficulty communicating in English. They were always willing and able to offer assistance. The hotel's daily buffet breakfast was of very good quality, with a surprising variety of options. Its bar is popular with guests and offers an exceptional happy hour from 4 pm to 6 pm every day, with all drinks on the menu - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - 50% off their already reasonable prices. Sipping well made cocktails by the side of the pool was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. I have no hesitation in highly recommending the Allegro Hoi An. Thank you to the management and staff for making this such a wonderful place to visit.…
Second time I’ve stayed here due to great location, spacious clean rooms and best service. We decided we wanted to do a trip to Hue at the last minute the night before and staff didn’t blink in organising transport for us. Breakfast is varied and location is walking distance to old town.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The service and apathy of the staff is commendable. Very varied breakfast. Walking distance from the center of the old city and it is also possible to get bikes from the hotel. Also next time we will choose a hotel.
We stayed for 4 nights and it was superb. Great hotel, great location, walking distance to many attractions and great restaurants. The very friendly staff make the stay very enjoyable, a big thank you to Sophie who does an amazing job of making all guests feel special. We will be back
