Zen Boutique Villa is of brand new construction, nine units altogether, built along traditional lines, using current engineering, beautiful tropical hardwoods and stone. It incorporates such modern amenities as soundproof sliding windows, state of the art bathroom facilities, a lovely swimming pool, a Zen meditation room, a fine little bar/restaurant, and a fairly extensive lending library with hundreds of books. The library contains many genres, including a number of books on Mindfulness, Zen and Buddhism. That collection is worthy of both beginners and deep researchers, and is written in both Vietnamese and English. It includes such well known Masters as Thich Nhat Hanh, Shunryu Suzuki, et al. When you come to Hoi An, Think about Quality and value when you choose your place to stay. Zen Boutique Villa is worthy of your consideration. Zen Boutique Villa is absolutely everything you want in a boutique hotel. Both the rooms and service are impeccable. The attention to detail from light switches, to bedding, from the swimming pool to breakfast go far beyond anything we expected. It is just outside from the craziness of the old town offering much needed peace and quiet. Do yourselves a favor, you’ll thank me!!

This place feels like little paradise! It even looks better than on the pictures. With only a small amounts of rooms it holds a very personal atmosphere with warm and welcoming staff. The breakfast is the best I had,it includes always a selection of fresh fruits, natural juices, local fresh teas and coffee, you can also order fresh eggs, bacon, pancakes or local specialties, always freshly prepared. I can highly recommend to take one of the hotels bikes and have a ride through the nearby rice fields . Also the personal mediation class was a unique experience! The city center is walk-in distance!

My mom and me really enjoyed the stay there. When we arrived they gave us a welcome drink and answered us every question to hoi an. They gave us really helpful Tipps what to do, where to eat and that we can use their bicycles.The people who are working there are so friendly and attentive. The rooms are beautiful and really clean. Breakfast is included (fruits, egg, coffee, juice, muesli, noodles).
We have to mention that we had a problem with our flight and they helped us and called the airline and managed the details.
It would be our first choice to stay, when we would come back to hoi an.

Unfortunately we never had chance to stay at Zen, because the poor impression of the Sales that we worked with. I contacted them directly via email to request a room. I only saw choice of Deluxe Balcony room on Booking.com, on exactly dates I wanted to stay, but they confirmed Deluxe on first floor without balcony. After I questioned, they said they would arrange the balcony deluxe for me ( they said they had 2 options of Deluxe: with terrace - which I think it's a small yard- behind the room as the Sales said, or with balcony which were sold at same price). I just wanted to confirm that we would have a Deluxe balcony room as the pictures on their website ( well, she really confused me from the 3rd email so I thought better to clarify, to avoid any surprise! I just wanted to ask if the balcony has lotus or trees as photos since they looks really pretty!), but then she said : "no tree/ no flower at balcony...I will arrange whatever I have, just confirm quickly please!" I had been waiting for her for almost 2 days to get her reply as she said she was busy for the new year celebration... I was working as the Sales in hotels/ resorts for several years, put myself in her situation but still very disappointed with the way she worked - a very respectfulness attitude and lack of patience.

We spent two nights (so sad, we wanted to stay more!) in this beautiful place!
Vy, Our host, was extremely professional, friendly and caring :) she took time to explain us all the activities and recommended places for dinner. She really made us feel at home, and helped us book different activities (such as cooking tour, which we recommend!). We could leave our luggages on our last day after the check out, and she organized transport to our next destination. Vy also saw from my passport that it was my birthday and left a very cute welcome surprise on our bed! Thank you so much Vy for making our stay so special!
On top of this, the house is very nice and quiet, just 5min by bike from the old town and 15to the beach. Everything is sparkling clean and the breakfast is very good too! We can only recommend :)

We highly recommend this place! This was by far the greatest breakfast we had our whole trip, as you not only get nice fruits but you can choose between Vietnamese and Western breakfast (and of course we took the Vietnamese one!). The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the shower invites you to never stop showering ;) The staff is very nice and helpful, we booked not only our tours with them but also our transfers, which was very convenient! We want to make a special shout out to Vy, who was working the whole time and very friendly and helpful!

From the outset we planned a long 4 week stay at Zen Villa and it truly excelled beyond our expectations. A wonderful place as our base to explore Hoi An and its surroundings. The villa is family run by Vien and her team of able friendly staff, Vy, Thuong, Khanh and the housekeepers were all simply marvellous, nothing was too difficult. They all helped with, suggestions for restaurants, cooking classes, tours, and everything in between. The location was ideal as it is walking distance to the old town but far enough away to be quiet and away from the crowds. The paddy fields opposite the villa are on the way to An Bang beach, the villa provided free bicycles which were very useful. Breakfast was simply the best, variety of fresh fruits, homemade yogurts and fresh squeezed juices, selection of pastries, eggs and our daily fix of Pho , we never needed anything else. Our room was large, modern, very clean with comfortable beds and a great bathroom (as the pictures on their website). We will return for sure, and highly recommend this villa.

We spent two wonderful days at Zen Boutique Villa. Quiet atmosphere (reminiscent of Bali), facilities and hospitality and courtesy of Vy and her colleague were outstanding. The location of the accommodation is a wonderful compromise of proximity to the old town and accessibility to the sea by bicycle, which can be rented for free. We found the attentiveness of Vy and her colleague remarkable, always knowing what our next stops were and proactively offering assistance and detailing local restaurants and stores on the map. In addition, we were fortunate to have been upgraded to a deluxe room, which had resulted from spare capacity. And oh yes, the breakfast! This really offered everything you could want; fresh fruit, homemade juice, local noodles (or your choice of egg and toast), small pan cakes, yogurt, delicious coffee and tea. A dream! Thank you.

We just had the best month staying at Zen Boutique Hotel! What a gem, we already can't wait to come back next year. Vien, Huong, Vy and the rest of the team were so welcoming and made our stay extra special - we left with new friends!
My partner and I are vegan and were treated to the most amazing breakfasts every morning. Side note: Hoi An is the best place for vegan food we've ever been oooooh the options!!
Zen is a perfect location for exploring Hoi An and we used the hotel's free bicycles on our stay to get into the old town (or it was a 10min walk), to go to the beach and explore the rice fields right by the hotel.
Loved having the pool to cool off in, and we were very happy with the strong wifi down in the pool/breakfast area which worked great for video calls.
Zen Boutique (and Hoi An) exceeded all our expectations and although a month is quite a long time to stay, we didn't feel ready to leave. If you're lucky enough to be going to Hoi An soon, go stay at Zen Boutique 😍

a little bit off the busy touristic area, zen boutique villa offers a fantastic place to relax and refresh. Vy takes such good care of all customers, full of good tips and solutions to make one's stay spotless, from organising trips at dawn to My Son temple to the perfect tailor, restaurant and even a good show. the room is very clean, and the breakfast a delight of traditional vegetarian vietnamese cuisine. very grateful to the lovely smiling staff.
