Location of the hotel is ideal, just 200 m away from the mausoleum of Gur Emir. Around of it there are some buildings of the time. Even Registan is not far away from the hotel ( just 15-20 minut walk ). Rooftop has a excellent view onto neighbourhood, including amazing ribbed dome of Gur Emir. Wifi is reasonable, breakfast is...

Elevated position looking down towards the main sites of interest. Hotel pleasant, balcony would be lovely at other times of the year, but obsolete at -8 degrees! Everything 15 minutes walk away or less. Staff friendly and helpful with arranging taxis etc, also allowed us a very late check out which was great as out train back to Tashkent did...

We had stayed in 3 different locations in Uzbekistan before finishing out trip in Samarkand. In all other places the service was one of the great things that stood out on our trip. What a shame then to end it with a stay at the Makika Prime. We had a twin and single booked and just given keys at reception,...

Stayed here one night as part of our tour. Location is ok, literally a minute from the Temur mausoleum complex but a good 15 mins to the Registan. Otherwise not that close to much, but dining options seem somewhat limited. Rooms themselves were quite small, not really enough space for 2 suitcases. Breakfast was passable.

This was in easy walking distance of everywhere. Our room was a little small but we had a tiny balcony at the front and there was a large roof terrace. We peeled off from our group snd found a nice little restaurant 20 minutes walk away (remember a torch if you're walking at night - we didn't but managed to...

I have stayed in Samarkand before at the other Malika hotel, which I preferred as being more "boutiquey". This time we stayed at the Malika Prime You stay at the Malika Prime, because of the location, very near Gur Emir and opposite a large park park; It is about 15 minute walk across the park and up a main road...

Enjoyed my stay here; great location to walk to the Registan and other sites. My room was extremely small; I had to move furniture around just to be able to open my suitcase. Room was clean, bed comfortable, nice bedding. I had a little balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and the park across the street. Decent breakfast buffet....

Modern style hotel with comfortable and clean rooms and quiet location. Good wifi which worked in our room, although others seemed to need use it in the lobby. Hard mattress was a problem for me but pleased to have English speaking channels on our TV. Good location for walking to tourist attractions No bar or restaurant but decent breakfast.

Stayed 2 nights during a recent Uzbekistan holiday. Overall very solid tourist hotel, although a few details need to be ironed out: 1. Positive - (a) fantastic location near Gur Emir and the park; (b) spacious, clean rooms with good beds fixtures in good order; (c) wifi in the rooms (not always the case); (d) roof terrace with good views...

The hotel is well located with excellent views out over Samarkand and right next to Registan and other sites. The hotel staff speak good English, there are small but functional rooms with a nice bathroom and comfortable beds and kept clean. The rooms are nicely decorated with wooden carved ceiling. There is a fridge and WiFi in the rooms however...
