My second time at this lovely boutique hotel. Only two blocks from the Old Town and half a block from the river. It’s one of the best locations you can get in Colonia. Huge rooms (ask for one in the street level if you have mobility issues as there is no lift) and a great…
An old building with a famous name without connnection to the Posada itself. Too expensive for a rather simple/bare, yet very clean huge room. Very good breakfast for those who love sweets as locals usually do. Nothing to add to an interesting historic town.
Lovely building in the Old Town. The room we stayed in was bare but adequate. There was water in the mini fridge that I incorrectly assumed were complimentary; they were part of the 'mini bar' and were added to our bill upon check out. The breakfast choices were interesting but…
Simple room, very clean. Not much in the way of amenities but great location, surrounded by restaurants and shops. Parking on the street in front. Friendly staff but very little English spoken. Breakfast was primarily (very sweet) pastries.
A good stay in a quaint Posada but it gives you nothing more. Room was spacious and roomy but breakfast poor. Many other options available. In a great location but could be so much better with a bit more attention to detail.
"first floor, do avoid the ground floor, ac is noisy"
"Quiet street just off the main thoroughfare. Our room faced the street but still very quiet."
"Ask for rooms off the back courtyard"
"Second floor with view to the river"
"The wi-fi is free but we were cautioned that it doesn't work too well in some rooms. Ours was upstairs right above the reception area and the wifi worked just fine."
