First thing, the woman at the front desk, Puala(sp), was extremely helpful. One of the best people we have dealt with. Very patient while showing us multiple room possibilities; she called and arranged a bus for us to Mal Abriga, excellent description of the sights. The room we chose: bottom floor, queen. While next to the pool, was quiet, clean,...

After 3 crazy days in Buenos Aires the perfect reset button was the Posada Tereza in Colonia Del Sacremento. A beautiful short ferry trip brings us to what looks like the last post. We disembark and just stroll 10 mins down sleepy tree lined single story streets to the hotel. A world Unesco site, quiet, picturesque and very chilled. Mr...

We stayed here for 2 nights in January 2017. The hotel is just a few blocks from the ferry terminal. Good location in the old town. Staff are really friendly here and Andreas at the front desk gave us a warm welcome and we immediately felt right at home. We stayed in Room 6 which is the nicest room in...

We stayed here for one evening. The hotel was clean, the interior space was updated and the breakfast offering was a little better than at some of the places we stayed, there was ham and cheese and cereal, as well as various forms of bread. On the downside, it was the smallest room we had during our 2 week adventure....

Husband forgave me for routing us to Colonia rather than Montevideo when we arrived at Las Terrazas.this elegant accommodation exuded "class", something we rarely experience at our price threshold. Room was small, quiet and, just off the pool, a haven in which to nap after a late lunch. The breakfast will possibly B the best of these 8 nights in S.America!...

We had reserved a room for 2 adults and a five year old. We got a room from the back of the garden on second floor and it was very nice! It was quiet and there was a nice view to the garden and pool. Room was also very quiet as it was far from the road. Not that there...

We stayed three nights in this small boutique hotel and truly enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly and really looks after the hotel, have rarely visited such a tidy place. Specific dietary requirements for breakfast were happlily accomodated. The location is excellent, just a few 100 meters off the touristy old town in a quiet neigbourhood, good to relax...
