We had a double room on the ground floor. It was reasonably priced and it opened out on to a very pleasant inner courtyard with birds singing in the trees. However, background music was piped into a courtyard which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere created by the greenery and the birdsong. There was a decent sized well-maintained en suite bathroom and...

This hotel is vastly different in real life from their marketing. The room was shockingly small and dark. What is perhaps not clear from their professional photos is that the doorway is your only window (when I booked, it appeared to me to be a balcony), and that what is right outside your door is the main path through the...

As a touristy area, the historic downtown of Colonia del Sacramento is a bit more pricier, but the Hotel Beltran offered a reasonable price. the hotel itself looks nice, and the staff is very attentive, but the room had its problems. It was a very cold night and there was a cold draft coming through the door, and the shower...

We originally booked 1 night in Colonia, but loved it so much we decided to stay 2 more nights. For the same price as a posada, we had the entire gorgeous hotel to ourselves. The staff was kind & helped me print a needed document, they lent us a wine opener, and the rooms were wonderful. The breakfast was Amazing!!!...

We went to Colonia's tourist information center for hotels suggestion . Big mistake. We were booked at this hotel at US$ 90/night. At the information center we were informed that we were upgraded for a better room at no avail. The " better room" had no wi-fi on the room, no frigobar, the bed sheet has stains. First room we...

Not a good value for money. Furniture was old. When I checked in the receptionist didn't speak English (I checked out with a different receptionist who spoke better English). On the good side, the hotel was a walking distance from the picturesque old town. Restaurants, pubs and mini super markets were all within a minute or two walk.

we only stayed for an afternoon/night,which is time enough to see the nearby old part of Colonia. Mainly Choose it because of the parking - which was good. But! We had a so-called "superior-room" (110 dollars), but there was nothing "superior" about neither the room nor the hotel in general: breakfast just not good enough considering the price. Wi-fi bad....

If I add all my stays in Colonia I have spent approx. 100 nights in this Hotel and I know why. Rooms wth lovely furniture (some of them with a great view onto the River Plata), LCD-TV, Air condition, a wonderful, modern bathroom and a bed that did not do harm to my back. Situated close to the old town...

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It was clean and well presented the staff were extremely courteous. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet no noise. Probably a bit expensive but it's busy and on the high season. I was offered a choice of rooms I didn't try the restaurant.

Superior room was standard size, mould on ceiling of bathroom. No lift, no help with luggage. No wifi in room that worked (signal too weak), breakfast poor, staff indifferent. We were there for 2 days in February, and the only saving grace is its central location. Overpriced for current options, but by August 2012 there will be new rooms which...
