Sharjah, United Arab Emirates' most extensive beach resort, Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa, is the city’s favourite seaside gathering place for extended holidays, short getaways, sumptuous local dining and social events. Nestled on one of the last remaining stretches of open, uninterrupted palm-fringed beaches in the Emirate, and with its own private beach, our hotel is also centrally located for easy access to key gateways and hotspots.

The Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa garners commendation for its cleanliness, with guests frequently applauding the immaculate beaches and rooms. The array of amenities, including a variety of dining options, a pristine beachfront, and a fully equipped gym, is a highlight for many travelers. While opinions on value vary, the resort's atmosphere is consistently described as welcoming and stylish, offering rooms with stunning sea views.
Service quality, however, receives mixed reviews, with some citing inefficiencies. Moreover, the spacious and comfortable rooms are well-regarded, despite occasional decor and room service issues. The hotel's tranquil location near the beach and local attractions is also a plus for guests.

Detailed Reviews
Overall very impressed with this hotel and the service provided. We arrived early (around 10am) and the hotel facilitated early check-in. We were allocated a fantastic club room with balcony and beach/sea views. It was more like a suite than a room. The standard of facilities and cleanliness is high. We stayed on a full board basis and enjoyed having breakfast and meals in the Gusti restaurant. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, in particular Kenneth, Zia, Suresh, and Laxmi. The themed buffets provided good choice and high quality dishes. We particularly enjoyed the Middle Eastern themed dinner on Thursday night and would highly recommend it. The club lounge was good for snacks and drinks....very comfortable sofas. The staff in the club lounge were very attentive, in particular Mr Ramadan. The swimming pools are OK but the beach area is particularly good for sun bathing, for kids to play and for a swim in the sea. The location is very peaceful and not far from Sharjah Malls (10-15 mins) and about half hour from Dubai and the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to families with young kids. What makes this hotel great is that staff in all areas provide a fantastic service.

We found this an excellent option for a cheaper beach hotel (than the ones in Dubai.) All the Dubai attractions are still accessible but I’d say £150 a night or so cheaper than an equivalent hotel.
We stayed for 9 nights (work trip combined with family sunshine.)
The rooms were of a good standard. The service was pretty hit and miss but nothing that was a major issue. The lady who welcomed you at breakfast was great, as were the staff in the posh Lebanese restaurant. Many of the other staff appeared to be waiting to go home. The toilets near the beach were very rarely cleaned and often dirty. Check in was quick and good.
It may be because of where our room was located but the cleaners didn’t seem to come until right at the end of the day unless you called up to ask them to clean.
The valet parking people were great and very helpful. You could call from your room and they would have the car ready when you got to the front entrance.
If you are looking to visit in the winter the main pool itself was just about warm enough. The kids pools were not heated and pretty cold unless the sun was shining in the middle of the day. The pool at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, for example, was much warmer and more comfortable. The kids sprinkler area and small pool in front of the kids club we’re both very popular with our boys (2 and 4.) To get the sprinklers turned on you need to ask in the kids club.
The beach was lovely with super soft clean sand and the sea was warm enough to swim in when the sun was shining. Hours and hours were spent digging in the sand.
We found their hot water struggled a bit when it was really cold and cloudy.
The breakfast buffet was pretty basic and not of a great standard. The paid for breakfast in the pool bar was excellent. The food in the Lebanese restaurant was delicious and we also visited the Italian restaurant in the Coral Beach resort next door which was also great. Judging by the breakfast buffet I’d avoid an all inclusive package here.
The kids club was a room with a few toys but our children seemed happy enough. The staff were very polite and kept telling me not to tidy up.
There is no alcohol allowed in Sharjah.

Overall, to sum it up, liked the hotel and the stay, there have been a few drawbacks though, just ensure not to stay in room 14, the very first night had to swap rooms due to loud water noise, however, issue resolved by switching rooms at around 2 am, second night wanted to go to the gym, which was supposed to be 24 7 and it was not only hard to find, but closed, the whole resort feels comfortable, it is a little bit like a maze and hard to find, but you will find your way through. Very unusual are the "towel cards" , which have a deposit of AED 50 each, in case of AED 50 (for each card) would be charged, just keep track on the card, ensure not to lose it. Pool timings have been nine to seven, which is very unusual for a "resort" , usually 10 to 10 would be more likely to be a life guard duty. (For one guard and if there are two, it could be even 7 to 11). The breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snacks were quite good and tasty, however, in other Sheraton hotels within the UAE you can actually modify your afternoon tea / evening snacks, e.g. require to remove items on the tray / add others instead, such as "double items on it. Some of those daily right are lower than the Sheratons (within the UAE) and do offer added value. What is also interesting is, that this Sheraton in particular is using the " Sheraton Grand" access cards.
Member of staff have always been eager to do the best they can, always eager to resolve issues, and to make the stay as best they could possibly do. During breakfast, all you need is to take on some gloves and you are able to help yourself on the buffet trays. Will definitely stay again and recommend this place.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Sharjah. It’s our 3rd time here and we always get to have an amazing experience. We stayed during Eid for 2 nights (originally) but extended for another night as it was a super relaxing stay, my kids didnt want to leave the property. We got a full board package and the price was very reasonable considering it was a holiday. We booked for a deluxe room with balcony but was given a smoking room by mistake. I called the reception and asked them to transfer us to a non smoking room. We were lucky and got upgraded to a club room instead. The location of the club rooms is in the ground floor just next to the pool, hence, we love our room. All staff specially those in the main restaurant are very accommodating. On our first day, dinner and lunch were served in room. However on our third day, we were asked to go to the main restaurant instead. We were not happy with too much crowd hence, requested the Filipino restaurant supervisor to serve the food in our room, which he gladly agreed to.
We chose to spend our Eid holidays in this hotel as it is smaller than most 5-star properties in Dubai. We like the privacy and the relaxing feels of less crowd. They have a small pool bar/restaurant which serve basic snacks and beverage but are very affordable to be honest. If you are looking for a relaxing stay, with bonus of a clean pool and nice beach, and at an affordable rate - visit this hidden gem in Sharjah.

We came here for a short weekend visit.
The first day service was great.
Today has been really poor. We have really been let down by the service today on multiple occasions.
Dinner service was terrible. The number of times they forgot to bring things we ordered. It came to a point I had to walk out of my seat and approach a waiter to take my order twice. I waited 20 minutes for a coffee and when asked where it was, was told they had forgotten! For a 5 star hotel I just don't expect this.
We came into the room at 17.00 and noticed the room was not cleaned so after calling them, they cleaned only the bathroom and corridor (they needed us out of the room to clean the rest of the room) which after 3 hours was still soaking wet.
After dinner we asked reception if they could call housekeeping and tell them to clean room and dry floors. They said they would send someone right away so we spent 30 minutes out of the room with the children to find that they didn't actually come!
I'm paying a lot to stay at this hotel and these are basic things that should be done. I doubt I'll be back.

I stayed at the hotel for a week and was very satisfied with my stay. The staff at the hotel are all very friendly and extremely service oriented. Upon arrival Islam and Essam picked out the best available room for me and also personally introduced me to Ahmed on the 9th floor - the manager of the club lounge. His service is absolutely super.
The breakfast offer in the restaurant is very rich in variations and has a good quality. In the hotel, the Covid 19 specifications with masks are very well observed. Some guests think that they do not have to wear masks, but here a hotel employee then immediately offers masks. The cleaning of the rooms was also very good, I was even asked by the cleaning staff if they had done everything to my satisfaction or if I had any requests. What can I expect more?
In the afternoon I sat mostly alone on the terrace of the Al Qubtan. Good food at reasonable prices. Especially the young service lady from Nepal was very communicative.
I also talked to other guests who have been staying at the hotel for a while or came more often - all of them recommended the stay in this hotel.
I will definitely book this hotel again early next year and stay at least a month. A thank you to all the staff for the very good service.

I stayed at the property with my significant other to celebrate the wedding
The sea view rooms boast an exceptional view of the Arabian Gulf. The aesthetics, room decor, views coupled with the ambience in the evenings made it an enjoyable stay.
It is located in an upcoming and picturesque part of Sharjah and very close to neighbouring Ajman if you want to explore two Emirates in one go.
Rooms were of a decent size and the staff were very cooperative and helpful. They offered us a late check out upon request and were very quick in handling our luggage.

Staff were all accommodating, too! They have us complementary cakes since it was my husband’s, my mom’s and my daughter’s birthday!!! Thanks for making our stay extra special.
The beach was so safe as well as the pool was really well maintained that my kids kept saying that they wanted to stay longer.

My first time to stay in this beautiful hotel, i love the beach front and the pool area. The front office employee who assisted us during checked in was very accommodating and housekeeping employees are really helpful with our needs. Also i would like to thank the Chef during breakfast, i was looking for a smoked salmon in the buffet but was not available, so he offered to give me and served in our table. I love the small gestures and really made me happy. Will definitely come back in this hotel.

The hotel was so luxurious and beautifully equipped. The lobby is spacious and the corridors as well. Getting to the room, the toilet is a masterpiece divided into 3 areas one for the bath tub and sink, one for the toilet and one for the shower. The towels quality is very good. The room furniture is very comfortable. The bed is large enough. The pillows, mattress and quilt cotton is super comfy. I was automatically upgraded from a standard room to a room with sea view. No to forget the variety of pools and the wonderful beach.
