I have been staying in this hotel for more than 1 1/2 years now and the location of the hotel is really accessible and it is in a good location. The rooms are big. Hotel staff, receptionist and bellboys are very accommodating and always willing to give a hand. I would like to commend Rose and Mary from Housekeeping for doing a great job in providing an excellent service in keeping my room clean. They are very friendly, pleasant and ensure that they have provided the service needed by their guest.

Whether you are on vacation or on a business trip , with or without family , it’s the most suitable hotel. It is perfectly located at Alnahda exactly opposite to Sahara Mall and at the border line with Dubai. If you want to go to Dubai , you only have to go through Sahara Mall to the exit Dubai where you can pick a Dubai taxi easily. All the necessary services needed are available in the very near neighborhood. NESTO & Lulu Hypermarkets are at a walking distance besides many options for smaller hypermarkets and restaurants. The hotel interior is very clean , always smelling nice and refreshing. Whether you booked an apartment, a suite or a single room, you’ll find it neat & clean , lavishly furnished and well equipped. I have stayed in this hotel with my family for a complete month in 2019 and again we are repeating the same experience in September 2023 whereas Golden Sands never failed my expectation. The staff are very professional, polite and helpful and ready to attend to any query promptly. The internet & WIFI are incredibly fast and free of charge .The health club and gym facilities though are relatively small , but are engineered enough for daily exercises to keep you in shape.Not to forget to mention, there is an option of covered parking available as well. The hotel has two restaurants in the ground floor that serves Alacarte cuisine as well as a buffet.

I was sharjah UAE on offical trip , as i work with an international company & i am travelling on every alternate month, i stayed in Golden sands sharjah in a single bedroom appartment. The room was very comfotable with pool / sauna / gym facilities with good speed internet. I was very impressed by all staff especially a room boy named Khum thapa. He was very accountable / decidated towards is job. Used to refill the toiletries / changing linen / cleaning on dialy basis with positive attitute. On this housekeepers week i wish him & all the staff of golden sands good luck for the future and may you have a wonderful life with no worries. Good Luck.

My family and I stayed here for 10 days - we originally booked through booking.com and when making the booking we were told the address of the hotel was where the other Golden Sands buildings are which is actually in Dubai and where we wanted to be. It wasn’t until it was booked and close to the time of travel that we realised the booking had changed to the golden sands in Sharjah. This wasn’t the hotels fault but is relevant to the review.
Sharjah is not a location we would return to, the traffic is far too busy and overall isn’t close enough to the tourist attractions.
The hotel itself was disappointing; we booked for 5 people but there was only enough beds for 4 so the youngest ended up having to share with us, the washing machine literally bounced when working - it bounced so much that it would move out of place each time and the noise was horrendous. The fridge didn’t work so unable to keep water or anything else cool (we only realised it wasn’t working when the milk turned to cottage cheese overnight). The main bed was raised higher at the feet end than at the head end, which wasn’t very comfortable. There was loose taps, loose light fittings, rips in the sofas and in general the whole place needed a refurbishment. The bath felt like it would fall through when we stepped into it and the bathroom in general had marks and mould in places. The kitchen also looked grubby and needed a deep clean.
The parking was a very very tight multi story car park - we have driven many time in many different countries and never seen such a tight car park. It wasn’t a problem to begin with because the hotel offered a valet service which was inclusive of the price we paid so we used this. However after dropping off the car with the valet one evening and then calling in the morning to have the car brought around, we were told that the hotel no longer offered valet. Our car keys had been left with the front desk and we had to navigate the car park ourselves for the remainder of our stay, which was only a problem because of how tight it was. Other guests also found it very tight. We were not told in advance that the valet would be stopping and at the start of our trip had been told it was included in the price we paid so not sure why it suddenly stopped.
When we booked it said we had a balcony however this very small balcony could not be used. It was attached to the children bedroom (when we booked we had been informed it was attached to the living area) and there was a bed in front of the doors so to even access the doors would have meant moving furniture around. The balcony had clearly not been stepped on in quite some time because it was absolutely filthy.
Overall a very disappointing stay. Even if this hotel had been in an area we would go back to we certainly would not stay in this hotel again.

The room is dirty, cockroaches!!! It’s deeply frustrated. The curtains are dirty and with squirrel paint, the curtains did not open, very dark rooms. The view from the kitchen window to the construction site, all the windows are dirty. The balcony is not accessible and terribly dirty, the room with the balcony is very noisy. The furniture in the bathroom was rotten from dampness. The toilet was not flushed (almost every day they were repaired). The bathroom is small and smeared all over with sealant and silicone. Luminaires coated with glue-like substance. The TV did not turn off, as the remote control was broken. The mirrors at the entrance to the room were with fingermarks. I have stayed in Golden Sands Sharjah as a long term resident for business. The hotel has various amenities nearby and is only a short walk from the Sahara Mall. All of the staff within the Golden Sands are always very friendly and happy to help. I stayed with my newly wed friends last night and I was quite impressed how clean and cold the room is. The staff was very assistive, we had so many requests and all of them were addressed appropriately.
I have written a separate review for the food we were served in their in-house restaurant which was also impressive.
The reception down to housekeeping was very accommodating. The best hotel I have ever stayed in in Sharjah.
