Had a brilliant holiday at this hotel overall. The service is great, there are a good amount of drink options and the food is brilliant for a buffet with extra perks of the other restaurants available too. We used the spa for a couples massage for our anniversary and really enjoyed it, Reggie in the spa really looked after us and they decorated the room for us too which was lovely! We stayed in the main part of the hotel and had a sea view, the balconies are really private and the lifts for each floor are quick and easy to use. I agree that the rooms are a little dated or worn in places but not where this would impact your stay and the cleaners are brilliant. They asked when we would like the room cleaned each day and how much water we would like in the room and we never bumped into them at all or had to wait for them to clean. The hotel were great with communication before our trip with my questions about the spa, meals and transfers. The hotel grounds themselves are huge and you can get a different feel and day depending on which part of the hotel you are spending the day at. The 3 restaurants were all brilliant and I recommend using them! You get 70 AED per person towards each one from your all inclusive package, plus they all had a set menu of 100 AED if you wanted to spend only a small amount for a full meal. You also got a voucher for a free set menu meal for every 5 nights you stay which was great. The area itself doesn't have much to do at all, however taxis are quick and easy to get from the concierge and there is a mall nearby if you want a half day out. Overall a great place for a switch off beach holiday! …

Reading through some of these previous reviews I thought these have GOT to be fake. Nobody ever comes in holiday and remembers the names of the people that served or helped them during their stay. Dear reader I was wrong. I can honestly say the staff that we have encountered have all been beyond superb, and I have therefore remembered some of their names (Farouk, Farhan at Kitchen) but be assured everyone we have had dealings with during our 8 night stay have been exemplary. TIPS FOR TRAVELLERS; If you’re a family bring uno or other card games as there is NO entertainment. Which is the only criticism I can make. Which is an amazing thing for me to say as I’m a critical old bag. TIPPING; Not expected but appreciated. We would tip at evening meals and occasionally for buggy drivers/ drink server’s but of course optional. We ALWAYS had a lovely table waiting for us at lunch/ dinner with our drinks waiting for us - I’m not saying that a tip was the reason but it can’t hurt to reward great service. Everyone works so hard, and so many staff we spoke to had worked at the resort for 10+ years it showed great work ethic and clearly higher management must be good and show staff appreciation to keep a happy workforce. A few AED’s to say thank you was a small gesture. If you love eating, like me, you’ll love it here. If you love drinking, like me, you’ll love it here! Branded drinks on the AI allocation, Peroni & Stella in Kitchen on tap. All bars carry branded drinks, and not watered down like other AI’s we’ve been to. Cans of coke/Fanta/sprite/Stella etc.. you can sneak away for your room to avoid the minibar costs if you’re a cheap skate at heart like me! (hope management not reading this) Beach/Pools/bars/ restaurants all fabulous. If you get stir crazy head to Manar Mall, costs £2.50 in a taxi and lots of good shops especially if your travelling with a teenager (Sephora/ Zara / Dunkin Donuts / Starbucks) plus big Carrefore for snacks and in-room treats. Beach beautiful, head to beach bars for sunset. Pools lovely, never seen so many life guards in a resort, they’re quick to blow whistle if anyone steps out of line (!) but while they might be a bit zealous I think that’s a good thing in a life guard tbh. If pools aren’t your thing the sea is like a bath. ALWAYS loads of Sun loungers, no need for the 7am race to place towels! We stayed in Family Pool View Villa, good size, shower and separate bath, Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo etc.. comfy beds, good air con. Get a buggy to and from main hotel or its a 7 min walk in the heat. There might be a few dated areas but really you can’t fault this resort for service, value and location. Loved it! Long review short: Great service/ Great Food & Drink/ Beautiful beach. Book it. Oh, and bring a UV vest, those creepy beach shoes/sock things to protect your trotters from the hot sand and plenty of suncream! Happy holidays you lucky people!…

I'm genuinely grateful for my month-long stay at the hotel. The cozy ambiance and the incredibly accommodating staff, particularly Mr. Danilo from the concierge, made a significant difference. His consistent assistance with my luggage, along with the rest of the team's support, contributed to a truly peaceful and enjoyable stay. It's the kind of hospitality that turns a stay into a memorable experience.

Just returned from the most amazing family holiday at this hotel! From the moment we got there all staff around the hotel were friendly, attentive and were always there to help. The hotel itself was spotless and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job of the rooms. We visited all restaurants available and couldn't fault any of them, food was 10/10 and always a variety of options (even for a fussy 6 year old!) A few shout outs to some of the staff who made this trip extra special for us. Heena and Farouk on breakfast made us welcomed every morning when we came down and greeted us with a smile everyday. Always made such a big effort with my daughter who will definitely miss seeing them each morning! Lunches were beautiful overlooking the sea, and again a big thank you to Fanham for always being super attentive and having our table ready for us when we got there. Nothing was ever to much to ask! We celebrated a birthday when we were there and wanted to give a big shout out to the staff at Sol Restaurant who made the evening extra special for us all. Delicious food in a gorgeous setting. (Also the housekeeping staff for decorating the room!) Chinedu in the Italian Restaurant was fantastic, knew our drinks on arrival and again, nothing was ever to much to ask. Pools were lovely, beach was beautiful and the kids club was fab with a range of activities and brilliant staff! Cannot fault are stay at this hotel, Thanks again to all the staff for making our week so special. We will absolutely be returning here in the future! …

The hotel has this terrible smell, like fousty or an old smell. Its so overpowering it gave me a headache and i was sick. I called the reception and they just came to spray air fresher like that will do anything? A lot of the corridors and the hotel in general has this bad odour. We stayed for a wedding but left as soon as we could.

The staff was awesome. We got to ride with Danilo the cart driver and he was very helpful and accommodating. The house keeping lady was very meticulous and was very careful with our things while cleaning up. Room service was attentive and quick with our requests.

On arrival the hotel was impressive , we arrived late and when asked was told we can have dinner . When checking in they want a deposit of 600AED for security and 100AED for tax , this wasn’t told when booking . The room was ok . We did ask for a beach view , we didn’t get that was told can pay extra for that . We had a view of the side of the hotel . All the pigeon seems to rest outside our window and was quite a-lot of pigeon poo on the walls . The hotel has 4 or so restaurants inside of it . Have to book in advance , wasn’t any problem can be done at desk in reception . We only did the viva restaurant which was there take in Caribbean food . It was a lovely experience as it was my sisters birthday and they accommodate us well . Came out singing happy birthday . The food in the main hotel was okish . Remember its buffet style food wasn’t the warmest and the menu can repeat . The staff was all very lovely and that whats makes it . The beach was beautiful and peaceful it private . We paid for a driver for the day so we could travel to Dubai . Its costed us 700AED for 10 hrs remember the drive to Dubai is 1 hr and 40mins had the lovely time the driver was the best , took his time and never rushed us . I would definitely go Dubai again , not this hotel tho . Its very out the way , its more of a place to stay if you want to go Dubai but not see all the sight and have a more relaxing holiday…

We stayed here for a week in September and we were blown away! Upon arrival we were upgraded to a beachfront villa in Cider Bay, wow! Awesome views and the villa was fabulous. Housekeeping staff were lovely. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all of the staff were friendly and so helpful. Dining room staff were always on hand to help, the food was great also. Thanks especially to the reception staff who helped sort out our pick up time for the return flight 🫂 and to the guy who booked us trips to Al Wadi desert and Oman, both trips were out of this world. Dubai mall was out of this world, Burj Khalifa is something else. We were 1.5 hours away from the mall but we took a taxi there and back, cheap price. We would without a doubt return to this amazing hotel. We just want to say such a big Thankyou to the management and all the staff at this hotel, honestly you're the best of the best! Shukran jazilan ❤️ …
