This is my 3rd time here and I keep enjoying the unique and luxurious environment. We had a small incident with the pool temperature but the staff immediately reacted to fix this by upgrading us to their premium room. We had the best housekeepers in the persons of Prabin and darshana taking care of us. Thank you very much gentlemen!

We stayed one night at this Ritz Carlton and it was an average experience. On the positive side the villas are superb with a nice quiet feeling after spending time in busy Dubai. On the negative side the common areas are average and not very well maintained and the service is generally poor for the high prices. The Moorish restaurant was also disappointing. Breakfast was OK and they don’t even provide you with a welcome drink on arrival. Overall far from a top 5 stars or memorable experience.

Upon arrival to this resort you are immediately wowed by its presence. Amongst the roaming camels you find the hotel reception and are then escorted to your room via buggy. We had the tented pool villa (which was definitely worth it) and we had many gazelles resting outside our room throughout our stay. We received a bottle of red wine and a cheese board on arrival which was a lovely touch. We went horse riding and watched the bird show - both of which I recommend. The stable staff were very friendly and informative. In terms of the food, a high standard was maintained across all restaurants. I don't eat meat but the restaurants had their own vegan menu, even at breakfast. Overall, a really impressive stay and I would definitely recommend (even in July!).

Recently stayed for 2 nights in one of the villas. Outstanding accommodation, which feels like a quiet haven in tne middle of the desert despite only an hour or so dri e from the hub hub of Dubai. Standard of room was fantastic. Huge bathroom, dressing room, hallway, bedroom, lounge and then private patio area with pool looking on to the desert. Each villa has 2 bikes parked outside for you to use throughout your stay, which we used alot to get around....the grounds are huge! We went to the complimentary falconry display on our first day, which was informative and you also got to hold the birds. We went on the Rainforest experience in the spa, which was worth the money, fantastic spa and good fun. It felt like we had the spa to ourselves. We ate at Moorish one night, excellent food and service, the other night we ordered room service as we wanted something more casual. We a.so ordered breakfast room service. All food ordered was excellent quality. Breakfast in the main restaurant is 155AED per/person, the room service menu was actually plentiful and good value in comparison. Overall, fantastic hotel, exemplary staff and service and would highly recommend.

A truly outstanding resort, even among the other RC properties. Although traveling alone, Shabaz stopped my check in when I mentioned I had been shopping at Souk Madinat Jumeirah for my friends’ children and returned minutes later with an armful of toys for me to bring back to nyc. Yes, it’s that kind of attentive, thoughtful service. Given that this is a nature preserve, the love and care that all staff show towards the natural beauty of the preserve is amazing. Gabriel and Godwin were a pleasure, as well as Ibrahim in the Falconry. If you do only one activity, please do the stargazing. Gabriel’s love and enthusiasm for this science is nothing short of contagious. Having just left Burj Al Arab, I have to say that RC RAK ran laps around them in terms of service. The dreaded free hotel breakfast, which can be a shrugged afterthought that receives minimal attention from the hotel (cough, Burj al Arab, cough), was actually a highlight of my mornings. It was a pleasure to start the day interacting with the attentive, wonderful staff. RC RAK truly raises the bar. I recommend wholeheartedly, and need to emphasize that the drive from DXB to this hotel is only 15 minutes longer than the drive to the Jumeirah hotel complex. Definitely a place I wish to return to as I continue exploring the UAE and Oman.
