First things first, I have not yet stayed in this hotel. But from the other side of the phone, I can tell that I will have a worst experience in this hotel !!!!!! I called their reception to inquire because I was planning to book a banquet hall/restaurant to have an intimate celebration for my baby's 1st birthday. An Indian man ( I know from the voice and pronounciation of the words) pickep up the phone after around 5 rings. When I started talking, "Hello, good morning. I wanted to inquire about booking a...." then, boom! The Indian man who picked up the phone cut me and said, "We will open at 9:30 am, maam!" Then I told him, "Oh, I just want to ask about..." another boom!!!!He again cut me and started shouting sarcastically on the other side of the line, "WE WILL OPEN AT 9:30 MAAAAAAAAM!!!!!!! OK???!!! BYE!!!!!....." and then dial tone followed up..I just can't believe he just hang up on me! To the management, please have your staff undergo a REFRESHER course on how to handle a phonecall...a basic for a HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY!!!!!!!! For him to say that "We will open at 9:30 am??!! I mean, REALLY??!!! So funny to know that your reception has their opening and closing time..what if you receive a phone call about something more serious? will your reception say the same thing?so scary!!!!... to all who are planning to come and stay here, better have second thoughts..what if you need help and call the reception, and the one who picked your call will say, "we will open at 9:30 maam!!!" then hang up on you..what are you going to do?hmmmm...

This is our second time in this hotel and to say this is NOT the best. They gave us dirty pillow case then they made charges we did not know due to changes they made even without informing us. As whats the manager in the reception said. We were surprised since they already deducted the charge in our CC the amount agreed for our stay yet during our check out day the receptionist were a bit to proud to say that we are not paid and we still have balance. We asked and explained yet we were only told you have to speak with the manager who also by the way insist that we are not paid and since there is miscommunication in the changes of room rates we will be given 20% discount. I think in every establishment or whatsoever, if there would be some changes, its the guest or clients right to be notified prior. So i would suggest to others to make it clear to the receptionist on ur arrival the detials and amount u paid. Plus take note of their billing rule* charges will be deducted upon arrival which did not apply to us since we arrived 7pm and they already deduct the amount on our card at 5pm. This is aside the amount they said that we did not pay on our departure. Which clearly said on their booking the number of days we are going to stay and the amount we were charged..we also did not forget the receptionist when we went to take towels for swimming who said if we did pay an extra amount since we are 5-person. Which we reply we book for 2 rooms Sir and yes we were already charged. This did not happen on our 1st time in this hotel last April. So i think its best if you stay here ONLY for 1 time and not for the 2nd time around. We asked how we can properly file for complaint we were only told to check this website and write our experience. See photo attached.

The hotel is dated but has a certain charm to it so easy to look past. Rooms were a good size. Pool facility was great for the whole family with water slides and good size pool for swimming. Biggest issue is the missed opportunity! The hotel has incredible views but the food options are very limited with one kitchen running two restaurants so the only difference between them is the name in the door! If only there was a manager who could see the opportunity they had to provide great food to accompany the view, I would stay here every time I can to Al Ain. The whole F&B experience is terrible but the whole experience of staying is ok.

Very disappointing. Was ignored for the first 20min after I sat down. Food took ages to arrive, and when it came, it was cold. They bring the food from somewhere different restaurant, so by the time it has arrived it was cold. One of the reason because they bring it uncovered. Not only it’s cold, but also very unhygienic. The guys working very nice and I can see them running around, but it’s not enough people to be able to keep nice service. Manager was walking around, he came around once, and I think he saw I wasn’t very happy, he disappeared inside and felt like was trying to hide from the problem. Waiter boys are great!! But need to be more of them I guess. Would come back only for the Amazing view.
