The driver of the hotel picked us op at the airport to bring us to the hotel. At the reception they are already waiting for us and the checkin was very fast. When we arrived at our room the roomservice also arrived with our food what we ordered through email because we had a late flight and arrived at 01.00 am in the morning and we did not had diner yet. We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe suite with private terras on the fourth floor. There you have a nice view overlooking everything. You can sit outside on two sides. The breakfast in the morning was a la carte and you can order what you want. The food was very good. The lunch we ordered at the beach. Also there the food was very good. Our diner we did in restaurant Vinesse for all days. We booked halfboard so we could choose for a starter a main course and a dessert. Also here the food was very good. The concierge (Mohit, Pratik and Ismaya) booked a one day trip for us to the miracle garden, the museum of the future and the garden glow. Rupack the driver from the hotel brought us there. When you are in Dubai this you must see. Dubai is only 45 minutes drive from the hotel so that is good. We also did 2 treatments at the spa. We can recommend this. All the staff are very friendly. Amazing find right outside of Dubai and easy to get to. The property is beautifully designed in a contemporary minimalist and modern style by Piero Lissoni. You can tell he paid attention to every detail from the architecture, landscaping, interior down to the furniture and materials. It's pretty impressive work.
This place is tranquil and feels like a getaway being so close to Dubai. The rooms are clean, comfortable, large, and spacious with a nice seating area and a huge walk-in shower. Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean and lush landscaping which again is just very well designed and relaxing.
Most importantly during the summer. The pool is huge, it is almost the length of a football field, and chilled which is great during the summer months. The pool staff is very attentive bringing you cold water and chilled towels. The walk down to the beach is really nice but now the water is too hot, however; excited to visit it during the cooler months.
I don't usually write reviews but was really impressed with this place. The General Manager here is really looking after his guests and the property. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Oberoi for 8 nights. We have stayed a few times in the UAE before. The hotel is relatively small but with extensive grounds, no high rise blocks, 4 floors is the maximum. The intention is to create an oasis of calm luxury.
We had a 2nd floor room overlooking the pool, a good location. There was no pool noise. The rooms are large and spacious, well equipped and with a large, if under furnished, balcony. There are also many single story villas nearer the sea.
As with most 5* hotels the bedding and towels were changed daily, towels often twice if placed in the bath. There is a very large walk in shower.
The mini bar was quite a bit cheaper than the bars for drinks (except at Happy Hour).
Both the bars adjacent to the restaurants operate a 50% off happy hour from 5-7pm. This can save quite a bit as the drinks, as one would expect, are not cheap. Do ask for the Happy Hour menu as this is often not out (red inside).
We switched between the two restaurants. The half board package is reasonable value but do check as it may be best to avoid if not intending to have three courses every night.
The food is to a very good standard. The exception being the BBQ held weekly on a Thursday at the Aquario restaurant. This is buffet with the meat/fish cooked by the chefs and put in the warmers. Not recommended for foodies. Vinesse, the other restaurant also has a buffet on a Friday night, we avoided this. For wines we recommend the Tempranillo (AED80 - a glass). The white wines were not great but try the Sauvignon blanc. All half price at happy hour and can be taken into the restaurant from the bar or terrace.
The beach is well maintained, there were plenty of loungers. The hotel as a policy of no lounger reservations. Beach and poolside service is via push button.
We used the hotel concierge to book golf and transport to the nearby Al Zora Golf Club, they do a great value package including clubs and and buggy hire. The course is challenging with massive bunkers and lots of water.

We stayed for one night on 3rd June 2020, during the difficult period of hotels opening up following the loosening of COVID-19 restrictions. This is modern but well designed hotel with a great beach and simply outstanding pool which is a focal point located between the hotel and the villas.
Checkin was efficient, we arrived very early and our room wasn’t quite ready, as we wanted to head for lunch in the main restaurant. Staff had all the required precautions in place and we felt that there was a excellent level of sanitisation and cleanliness.
Food, was terrific we choose the club sandwich, which came with complimentary salads which freshly prepared and a nice surprise. Service was terrific and delivered by Shashank, who was outstanding.
During lunch Shashank checked on our room, and arranged for reception to show us to our room once we had completed our lunch. The room was on the 3rd floor and very large. The style of room was modern, a great balcony and with a large bathroom and a fantastic shower. Views from the room are amazing across the pool and villas to the sea.
We had room service dinner, food arrived timely, they advise 45 minutes and it arrived in 40 minutes, it was hot and very good quality, a Chicken Burger and the Chicken Tikka Makhani. They included a very nice complimentary slice of white chocolate cheese cake to share, a nice welcome surprise.
Breakfast was great, it felt like a buffet although it was served, plenty of choice including fresh pastries and fresh juices. Once again served by Shashank, who was terrific and we had some enjoyable banter as well as great service from him and his colleagues.
The only disappointment was that we only booked 1 night and we should have stayed longer, but for sure we will return.

We went for what was meant to be a one night staycation and ended up extending for another as we had such an amazing experience and did not want to go back home!
All the staff were extremely attentive and what amazed me throughout the stay is how "safe" we felt despite the pandemic. Every staff member kept their mask on without constantly touching it which indicated significant etiquette training on behalf of the Hotel's management. I really cannot emphasise the importance of the staff's commitment to everyone’s safety and the level of reassurance it gave us.
The Oberoi team really thought of every little detail…. We were extremely impressed at how the valet warmly greeted at the entrance and then guided us to park the car ourselves. As I pulled out my disinfecting wipes to clean the seats on the buggy that would take us to reception, the driver kindly reassured me that the buggy was sanitised in advance of our use!
We had a premier garden room and it was super (picture of the view included). The room was extremely spacious in comparison to other hotels we stayed at in the UAE.
The teams for dinner and breakfast at Vinesse were also exceptional and their service was impeccable. They were so kind to accommodate us in our own area and agreed to take our orders in advance to so the food would be ready for the kids by the time we arrived for dinner (picture of the beautifully set dinner table waiting for us included). The teams’ attention to detail really struck the next day as they remembered our preferences and would prepare everything before our arrival to the restaurant. We really haven't felt such personal service and so genuinely cared for at a resort in ages. Their small, subtle touches left such a positive impact on our entire experience.
The attentive service also continued at the pool and beach, where we were constantly supplied with cold water and refreshing fruit popsicles.
A BIG THANK YOU goes to everyone at the Oberoi who took such wonderful care of us and made our first step "back into the world" such an enjoyable experience after all the fear and stress we had been through the last few months. We are already planning our next staycation there for July!

I, my wife and 2 daughters spent 3 nights at Oberoi al Zorah from October 17. The place is really beautiful. At the arrival the access is protected by security. The hotel has less than 100 rooms and is spread across a large surface so you never feel too crowded. The architecture and internal design are stunning. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and very well equipped and comfortable. Our 2 rooms had also a private garden that was very large, private and very pleasant. We spent most of the time at the beach that is clean and well serviced, we never missed to get a spot in front of the sea even arriving late. Our kids enjoyed the donut with ski jet which is great fun but unfairly overpriced (service managed by the hotel). Overall service is impeccable everywhere and the staff is very well trained and helpful. The breakfast is excellent and the personnel extremely polite and a accommodating. We dined at Both Vinesse and Aquario. Food is maybe not at the same standard of excellence - Aquario proposes some Italian/Mediterranean dishes that to an Italian like me could be better - and lacks certain sophistication and variety.

My wife and I stayed for two nights on 14 October. As you would expect, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the grounds are maintained diligently to an excellent stanadard. The pool area has a good allocation of sun loungers and cabanas and, despite the hotel being close to full capacity during our stay, it did not feel crowded. The hotel's private beach is well-maintained and, conveniently, a waiting service is available for drinks.
More disappointing was the food. Given that the Oberoi is an Indian hotel chain, we were a little underwhelmed by the Indian dishes at the Vinesse restaurant. In particular, the lamb in the Lamb Rogan Josh curry was chewy and fatty and was generally less tasty than our usual takeaway curry of choice. The same applied to the chicken tikka. On the second evening of our stay we dined at Aquario restaurant. The surroundings were impressive but again we felt that the food (we had the bouillabaisse) was not 5* standard. My wife was also unwell the following morning.
The rooms are well equipped and beds extremely comfortable. Noise insulation could be improved (we could hear conversations in the rooms next to and beneath us!) but otherwise the rooms are good.
Overall, we had a relaxing stay and would consider a return visit.

The hotel grounds and the surroundings were perfect for a getaway from Dubai. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which had a full size pool and was private and secluded facing the beach.
Very high standard within the villa and hotel, the food was of high-quality, staff were all pleasant and helpful.
Rita within reservations was very helpful and took time to answer my queries and send us supporting information about the hotel and villa. This really helped us make the right choice on which villa to book.
Ehab and Devia the duty managers looked after us while we there and ensured our stay was perfect. Ehab personally checked in on us which was very kind of him
The housekeeping team Vamshi, Sobhojith, Manoj were very thorough with the cleaning of the villa and were polite and accommodating.
Ricardo and the team (Asel, Natalie)in the restaurant were excellent at breakfast. My children really loved the hot chocolate with marshmallows 😋.
Joel in the golf cart took us for a tour around the hotel , beautiful grounds and gardens.
A few suggestions to make it even better: 1) Complimentary treats for families in the Villas would be a small touch that would provide a really memorable experience for families with children. We didn’t touch the standard fruit basket.
2) the TV in the living room of the villa is too small for the size of the room and not audible.
3) maybe increase the raking and cleaning on the beach to ensure it’s always pristine for guests.
In the current circumstances with COVID 19 we felt very safe in the hotel and within the Villa. The private pool meant we could relax and enjoy ourselves outdoors.
It is expensive but money well spent on your family to have an excellent break! We were sad to leave and we will be back soon!

A real hidden gem , slick, modern, bright. Everything about this place oozes light and energy. We booked a 3 bedroom villa , all rooms were spacious with plenty of natural day light, and a beautiful outdoor decent size pool. Beach was clean and well serviced and the pool (they said longest in UAE) was really large, you could do laps or find your own space within the pool and chill. Best part was the fruit ice popsicles 😄 Overall very relaxing vibes for both families and couples alike. We have just returned from 10 days holiday at the Oberoi. It was perfect - from the time we were collected by car and the hotel telephoned to say that the restaurant was closed so they would put coffee and sandwiches and cakes in our room for our arrival - which they did and it was all fresh and the coffee was freshly brewed and hot. Every member of staff we encountered from the gardeners to management always greeted us with a friendly but respectful good morning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our suite with two balconies was a delight. Comfy beds and pillows, spotlessly clean and spacious and light. Every morning we "walked the boundary" and the gardens were lovely. We didn't sample the beach other than to walk on occasionally but the pool was enormous and poolside service was excellent. There were two restaurants both serving quite different meals but they were cooked and served promptly and tasted delicious. We especially enjoyed the barbecue night and the buffet night. All beautifully prepared with the chefs on hand to explain the dishes. We have no complaints at all with the hotel and staff. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. It felt like 10 days of heaven. Wir waren Mitte Mai 24 im Oberoi. Es gab die beiden Restaurants Vinesse und das Aquario zur Auswahl. Beide ausgezeichnet, wobei ein Seafood Fan besonders im Aquario auf seine Kosten kommt. Ein weiteres neues Restaurant darüberhinaus gab es im Mai 24 nicht.
