The price-performance ratio is not correct. The night for 4580 UAH is definitely to much. The hotel is 10 years old, but it seemed it's 20 years old. The price level is generally to much for Zaporozhye. The breakfast buffet is good (quality and choice). The quality of restaurant is also good, but I ordered for diiner a 'Grilled beef medallions', which is served without any besides like vegetables or potatoes. Only two pieces of beef medallions. I didn't know that this is typical in Ukrainian kitchen to order besides. The main negative impression is the cleanliness of the hotel/room (for this price level). The carpeted floor in room (#608) was quite dirty (skeevy). The furniture is used up. Yours sincerely, Matthias Klebl. The price-performance ratio is not correct. This is, hands down, the best place to stay in all the Zaporozhye region. My wife and I have have stayed here before, but it had been a few years. With all the changes in 2020, we wondered what to expect at Khortitsa Palace. We were delighted to find out that it is just as wonderful a hotel as ever. Our room was spotlessly clean with the incredible view of the Dnepr River, Khortitsa Island, and the Zaporozhye cityscape. And I love the pillow-top mattresses on the beds - so comfortable! The breakfast was just as delicious as ever, and we also enjoyed all the extras (even the well-equipped exercise room, fast wifi, relaxing lounge area and restaurant, etc). And the staff, as always, were so friendly, helpful, and responsive to any requests we had. It is so nice to see that some good things never change! We're looking forward to our next stay!…
We recently visited this hotel which offers great services, include excellent spa, bar and complimentary breakfast options. The hotel is located 10-15 min from downtown, however, there are stores and restaurants around it. The view from the top of the hill is amazing. The restaurant under the pedestrian bridge 5 min away was superb.
This was our first visit to this city and country of Ukraine. Every arrangement was made by our future daughter in law who is from this town and country. The room was nice and Spacious, clean drapes, 2 seater sofa and a single chair sofa in a separate area. Adequate amount of small tables completed the suite. A small fridge, coffee /tea maker, complimentary bottles of water were supplied. The housekeeping staff was obliging and friendly. Breakfast was included and one could order oatmeal the way one wanted it, eggs could be ordered as well of one's choice. local pastries and others for the sweet-toothed. The hotel was clean and we definitely will stay there again. Wifi, TV large double bed, underground parking
I had some doubts regarding this place. But after my third breakfast - no doubts, it was terrible. Rooms are normal. Low quality staff with low quality service delivery. Looks like Sheraton but without it’s soul. For the same price in Kharkiv Palace you have SPA, Gym, Pool for free. SPA 500 UAH/hour in which century do you live in?
What a wonderful hotel. So clean and friendly. I have just got back from a stay there and will return in two weeks. The rooms are spotless not a speck of dust and all the staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble. I would recomend this hotel everybody. Looking forward to my stay on 4th April. Thanks for everything.
It is never less than perfect to stay here, location is good, rooms are spotless, service is good and it is a safe bet to go here. I have been here many times now and will be back whenever the opportuinity is there. Don't miss the muffins at breakfast, the muffins are to die for.
I was in this hotel more than hundreds of times. It’s very beautiful place with bright clean rooms which have amazing views on Khortitsa island. Gourmet restaurant offers very delicious food. I recommend cream soup with prawns, it’s really fantastic. Amazing gym and SPA. Very friendly staff and reasonable price. I recommend hotel Khortitsa Palace to anyone who will visit Zaporozhye.
Zaporizhzhya is an industrial area, south of Kiev. It's a lazy town with small houses strewn around dense foilage. However, the Khortista Palace hotel stands out, with it's twin towers with pyramids at the top and amazing views from the windows. It's right next to the beach and evenings can be fun. Very upmarket hotel, decent bar and restaurant (breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about). A very nice outdoor sitting area overlooking the beach is a nice touch, and the food served there is pretty good. As in most of Ukraine, food and drinks are quite cheap. One of the biggest drawbacks of this hotel, which is otherwise excellently located and can be spotted on the horizon from pretty much anywhere in the city, is that the staff hardly speaks any english. The only english speaking staff seemed to be at the reception, and nobody else spoke a word of it. But then, it's mostly the Ukrainian football team that stays here...…
I was in the Khortitsa to moderate a three-day workshop. The rooms and facilities were fine, but the service was really weird. The cafeteria and food services were mediocre. The staff prefers to use the word "no" as a default response when they don't understand or are just too lazy to do what you ask. I got a good massage there and the gym was fine too. But staff was only sometimes helpful and other times plain unhelpful. The lunch service for the conference was really bizarre. I asked at lunch for some tabasco and the lunch manager said there wasn't any although I had got some at breakfast, so I knew there was tabasco in the hotel. So I said so and she left. And never returned. The next day, she approached me and told me that tabasco was extra and that I would have to pay for it. And she actually gave me a bill for 63 Grivnye and hounded me for it, as well as bothering other people in my conference about it. I have never been given a tabasco bill at a "premiere" hotel or any other hotel for that matter. I wouldn't recommend this place, but I think it's the only game in town.…
