Wonderful staff! Special thanks to Grace and John! I loved the setting, the room and professional and caring staff. The outdoor porch off the room was very nice and tranquil. Great location, easy to get to airport and shopping. This is now my “go-to” place while in Entebbe!!

went on the recommendation of a friend - looking for a good steak. Booked for an evening birthday meal for my wife. Easily the best cooked steak in Uganda according to my wife and daughter. Great evening spoiled by being being informed that the hotel only accepted cash (their UGX machine was not available). Not Uganda cards or mobile money. They could have informed me when I made the booking by WhatsApp. I'm not familiar with Entebbe at night and it then took me 40 mins to find an ATM at night and then return to pay, and collect my very bored wife and children.

The Boma We traveled to Uganda to see habituated and non-habituated Mountain Gorillas…Silverback and their families; and Chimpanzees, in late January 2023. This beautiful lodge was our starting point and then our last stop on our way home. It is conveniently located, only 15 minutes from the airport. The lodge is beautiful with well-appointed rooms and all the amenities you expect. Grace, at the front desk, was helpful and answered all our questions and always gave us valuable advice. Breakfast is included and the dining area is on a sun-lit verandah overlooking a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast and the other non-included meals were delicious and available all day. They have full bar service, and the beer and wine were excellent and priced competitively. There are flowers and attractive greenery everywhere on the spacious property and the overall ambiance of the lodge was exceptional. The staff was always cheerful and helpful, including help with the luggage and anything else we could ask for. We highly recommend The Boma. - Bob and Brenda Hofman

We had a one night layover in Entebbe, and Boma was a great place to stay. Its location is very close to the airport for transport, but not so close that you hear the runway noise. It has a lovely unheated pool, as well as a variety of board games available. We were a family of 3 (father and 2 adult children), and were in a triple room with 3 twin beds. As mosquitos are sometimes an issue in Uganda, our room was sprayed during evening turndown, and mosquito nets were available for all beds. As we had just come from a multi-day safari experience in tented camps, we especially appreciated the generous and readily available hot water for showers. They even provided a small jar of fresh baked cookies in the room! The food was excellent - 2 of us are vegetarians and we found all vegetarian options quite delicious (not always true in other locales). Laundry was also available at an extremely reasonable price! WiFi is available, but we found it rather unreliable in all locations. Overall, a very nice place to spend an overnight - would recommend!

Gated compound makes you feel safe and secluded. Lovely welcome from helpful staff. Well appointed rooms with kettle and tv! Good food in restaurant, clean swimming pool relaxing area around. Easy walk to nearby ATM and supermarket. Great introduction to Uganda, looking forward to our stay here prior to flight home

What a super find, Boma Guesthouse was a great place to stay. All the staff are really friendly and professional. (Especially Coba!) They welcomed us on arrival and you felt very at home. We had two different rooms as we stayed for two nights the first part of the week, then went to the forest then we stayed in another area of the guesthouse for 1 night on our return from the forest. Both rooms were clean, spacious with good facilities, the cookies were delicious! We was on our honeymoon and our room had roses, a heart keyring for us to keep and a lovely note. ❤️ the food was very nice, with a good selection. They also kept our larger luggage whilst we was in the forest which was kind of them and organised all of our taxis to and from the airport. Thanks to everyone at Boma for looking after us!

The best of the best service absolute class from the food to the staff they did everything in the power to make me and my mum comfortable Davis is an asset to your hotel and Grace and all the other staff. The owners are one of the most caring people I have come across did everything to make us feel really comfortable you wouldn’t accept anything less from this kind hearted Irish couple. I have always had a soft spot for Irish people as it was an Irish who saved my life and why I am here today. Anyways also the food I have tasted there I have never tasted such tasty food in my life the Talapia was huge and out of this world. Please keep so what you are doing and god bless all of you at Boma and making mine and my mums stay so memorable.

Stayed for 2 nights, the night we arrived in Entebbe and then again on the night after we returned from a visit / flight to Kidepo National Park in the north of Uganda. It served a purpose of needing overnight stays in Entebbe. It was close enough to the airport to hear the noise of the late night / early morning flights, but then much of Entebbe accommodation will suffer from that. It was clean, secure and the food was pretty good. Can't say much more than that, except we would consider staying again if we needed accommodation in Entebbe.

Everything was excellent at the Boma hotel. All staff were extremely accommodating and helped with everything from exchanging money to having a scale to weigh luggage. Rooms were very clean and nice. Atmosphere around the hotel is relaxing. Staff made sure to add little extras like, pumpkin pie on what was our Thanksgiving. Highly recommended the Boma.

A quaint guesthouse, with everything you need. Used Boma to stage trips for other parts of Uganda. Restaurant was in a beautiful setting near poolside, complete with bar. The food was delicious. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Grace at the front desk was very accessible and accommodating. She sent someone to exchange US to Shillings for a great rate. Monkeys near my room, fun and no bother. Laundry is available but didn't need. Stowed luggage I couldn't take until I came back to fly out. They had a day room for me as alot of flights go out very late, great idea.
