It’s always good start with the good. The rooms are large, excessively so, and they are not carpeted which I’ve always found to be a plus. The bed is also one of the largest, I’ve ever slept in. I had a good working shower with hot water, they provided all mod-cons, and there was plenty of space for clothes and... More

We were staying at the amazing Protea Hotel and they ran out of space so we had to move hotels. This was my fault, not the hotels. I went to the Imperial Beach Resort and you can immediately tell the difference. The food is awful. It takes 15 minutes to order a drink at the indoor bar. The internet is... More

They have improved their ability to timely cater for numbers for large gatherings and conferences but need to improve on their preparation of matooke - the local food. Otherwise their food is ok and their fruits and desserts great.

This Hotel doesn't look great from the outside...it's a huge blue monstrosity... interiors aren't so bad. It would not have been our first choice. Reception were helpful and rooms were ok. The bed was super sized.... I endedup parallel to the pillows and still didn't reach the other side! Food was massively disappointing.... very greasy...and limited choice. Also expensive for... Like other reviewers, I will note this is the closest airport to Entebbe Airport. It's located on Lake Victoria and some of the rooms seem to have lake views. I had to stay due to a work emergency. I found the staff helpful but sometime one did have to be a little patient. My difficulties were in dealing with check... More

We had to spend the night there after our emirates flight was canceled. Apparently they were not ready to receive such a big number (entire airplane) at once. Service was bad, staff not very friendly (sometimes nervous), food was horrible! In the room, Internet was not working and shower was not working!

Service was on point with very friendly staff willing to help. The rooms were well stocked with amenities replenished on a daily basis. Enjoyed the fish at the beach well marinated. Swimming pool area offered ideal relaxation.

We stayed here one night after arriving in Entebbe. The hotel is large and was very quiet. Our room was big with two windows overlooking the gardens and Lake Victoria and was very clean and comfortable. The beach area is a relatively narrow but is wide.It has a tall black fence separating it from the hotel. The food was very... More

Left KampLa a bit earlier so we could have lunch next to the lake.... Not such a good idea to do this at the Imperial resort. You can hardly see te lake as they have a huge fence on the beach ( i do understand safety can be an issue) but surely something can be done. The menu is limited... More
