Frank and Molly are fantastic! Super helpful and knowledgeable. Guest house is very nice and reasonable prices! The guest house is close to the airport. They picked us up and dropped us off at airport which eliminated lots of stress and worry. The food was very good! We had wifi and warm showers! Molly has fabulous local items for sale if you want to do some shopping for traditional shirts, scarves, shorts, dresses, purses or bags or you can pick up some local artwork and souvenirs. We went on a few safaris with Frank and his staff and they were amazing! Patiently answered all of our questions! Trust me we asked a lot of questions. They would stop when we wanted to take pictures. Very honest business! We were a bit apprehensive wiring money to secure our gorilla permits for the gorilla trek we had planned, as we have never wired money before to someone we did not know in a country we have never travelled too. We didn’t have any issues. When we were planning the safaris Frank answered all of our questions quickly and provided quotes. When we arrived all of the prices were as quoted. The gorilla safari and the other safaris were amazing! Highly recommend Frank and his staff!! All the places Frank arranged for us to stay at during the safaris were amazing! One place he arranged for us to stay at was out of this world. We could sit outside our room and view elephants across the channel. Some were swimming and playing in the channel! Absolutely amazing! We never once felt unsafe throughout our safaris or our stay at the guesthouse. I highly recommend this honest family run business for your safari needs or to stay at while you are visiting Entebbe!!

Our group of 2 couples needed a place to nap, shower, and relax during our 12 hour Entebbe layover. We had a delicious meal and drinks in their restaurant before going to our room to relax. The staff were very kind and accommodating. They arranged a shuttle back to the airport for a small fee. Very nice service for the price!

We were absolutely treated like family! Every single employee showed genuine love, kindness , concern and grace ! Their work ethic is beyond words - greeted us with a smile when we arrived in the middle of the night! Prepared amazing meals for us and accommodated two large groups of friends that visited us at Green Valley. The staff went above and beyond and made extra food at the last minute and showered everyone with amazing hospitality!
Green Valley organized a safari , contacted boda bodas , and provided transportation for us to the airport and the mall !
The accommodations were lovely and they delivered our bags to our room. They generously honored a late checkout and kindly wrapped up all the goods we bought in their beautiful gift shop.
We truly felt like royalty ! I would highly recommend Green Valley! You will gain new friends that you will forever treasure !

My friend and I stayed here for the weekend. It was an absolutely perfect getaway spot. It is really close to the airport or to beaches and Victoria Mall. It is a lush property with lots of greenery. There are many sitting areas so it feels like you are in a secret garden.
The food was amazing. Their chef Augustine does a wonderful job and it is obvious he loves his job.
Frank and Molly are great hosts. They gave many recommendations.
If you liking walking or running it is an quiet and safe neighborhood. We walked a big loop and got to walk on a beach and get some good hills in!

I stayed at this guest house on the night of my arrival in Uganda and again on the eve of my departure and I can only say that whilst it might not be luxurious it was easily comfortable enough, the breakfast was delicious (fresh fruit and omlette, tea, coffee, fruit juice) and it was very clean. My first night's room had en-suite with a warm shower, the second was a twin room with bathroom just across the way. I was picked up from the airport as arranged and also had a couple of evening meals - both the same due to the electricity cutting out ..... but delicious all the same.
The biggest impact of this hotel tho were the staff who were very friendly and helpful and showed an interest in the care of the guests without being overbearing. The guest house is also situated in beautiful gardens and there is free internet (when the power is on! )
I'll definitely be using this guest house again on my return visit - very good value for money, safe, clean and comfy.

Frank and his group can really help take the stress away from the first few days of setting foot in a new country. Clean rooms, hot water, and a full breakfast. They also can help arrange airport pickups and special hires to get you safely to your intended destination. The garden is peaceful and serene. I lived in Uganda for four years and for all my comings and goings I always choose Green Valley.

Green Valley Guesthouse is a great place to either start or end your trip in Uganda. It’s near the airport, nice moderately priced accommodations and very good staff. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.

Yes! Finally a fully functional electric hot shower - so needed after endless cold showers around Uganda. Comfy beds, brilliant wifi, and close to the lake, which is absolutely beautiful.
Staff are great and it's affordable. Great place

Due to traffic we arrived much later in the evening than planned, around 5 pm, after a long journey, not helped by the poor directions provided to us when we phoned. Despite our late arrival, our room STILL was not ready. The lady was awarea of our length of journey and instead of kindly offering a soda or a water and politely explaining the issue/asking us to wait, they left us standing in the garden not knowing what was going on. We stood there for 25 minutes, dying for a shower, then looking for staff, before completely giving up and heading out for dinner. I was dying for a shower, hot or cold wouldn't have mattered! I thought this was really poor form, we were not expecting luxury lodge treatment by any means, but manners is manners despite the audience.
When we got into our room, it was mediocre. It seemed unfinished. There was a random smell. Fortunately, we slept well, the place was quiet and the shower was decent. Also the garden area of the backpackers is lovely with hammocks and couches to relax in and plenty of place for camping. For the price though, we had a poor experience, and found it very, very disappointing. There are many more accomodations around lovely Entebbe that are far better value.
