This was such a nice hotel, so much better than we expected. The staff was polite and helpful. We got a ride to the zoo and back to the airport for a very cheap price. The room was clean – amazing experience after living 2 weeks in a rural area. And the pizza was amazing in the restaurant! This will be our choice next time ;)
Stayed at the Frontiers Hotel in December 2019 for 4 days and then for another 4 after a small parenthesis in Kampala. The Hotel is located next to Victoria Lake and Entebbe town is just 20 minutes walking. It is located next to the Entebbe golf club in a very peaceful area and just 5 minutes walking from Aero beach. The staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. Rooms was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. The breakfast is adequate although a couple more items could be added like cheese and yogurt. The restaurant has a big variety of local and international dishes to choose from and. I was given the same room when I returned and there's an airport shuttle free of charge. Will definitely be my #1 choice when I travel back to Entebbe.
Rooms where not clean I found several dead mosquitos in the bed, breakfast was just bad quality bread and tea. The front desk was not friendly at all and there was a lot of loudly people outside so difficult to sleep.
We were staying at this hotel one night before going on a gorilla safari. The room we got was worn out. Hanger for towels was coming off the wall. Hardly any space in the room to place your suitcase. One bed was placed in front of the door to the balcony. Power went on/off and every time the power came back the TV started up. After a couple of times we disconnected the TV to avoid this. Dogs were barking outside the hotel most of the night so it was impossible to sleep. All in all not a place to stay. Really. We cancelled the second night we had booked and found another hotel which was a bit more expensive but far better. Yak!
