Amazing property, everything was perfect. I was pick up and drop off at the airport. Very well locked after. They were very professional, very accommodating. Wilbert and Maureen were they best. The property was very perfect, clean, lovely swimming pool. Great staff, the food and the breakfast was very nice. I will highly recommended
I stayed here with my father , it was low season and they upgraded our rooms . the rooms were fab and views we had were great . check in and out was very smooth. The Staff could not do enough for us . The food we had was great also ... local food :) . one tip would be if the hotel is quiet , give the chef time to cook . The food is all made to order , so dont expect your food on the table if 15 mins ... they have to get the ingredients ! however the food we have was amazing , and very please to see they had the local food options on the menu as well as international :)
Normally I begin a review of a property telling about the room itself. Well, it was very nice, but it was the service which was outstanding. I was travelling home to Uganda from the USA and my wife was going to meet me at the airport. It was a late arrival so I decided I wanted a room near the airport, rather than the long drive home. And though my arrival would be late, I wrote to ask if it were possible to arrange for my wife to arrive earlier in the day so that she might enjoy the hotel. It was. The owner of the hotel must have communicated back and forth with me at least a dozen times to work everything out for her, and things went so smoothly. I really appreciated the effort. Yes, it's things that any hotel ought to be able to do, but not every hotel does. They did it, and did it well. This attention to detail from the owner beforehand was matched by the staff at the hotel. The driver of the shuttle got my wife to the airport to meet me on time, and then the next day took us home. (The airport shuttle was free; I paid $100 US for transport to our home in Nansana. Given how many bags I had it was well worth it, no taxi could have accomodated us.) My wife had eaten supper earlier in the evening, but it was after midnight before I was actually in the room. Still, room service provided me the hot meal my wife had ordered for me earlier. I don't know if it was just saved and warmed up or prepared fresh, but it was truly excellent. Over and over the service proved to be truly exceptional. And there were no excuses because none were needed. As for the room, wonderful. We got the executive suite with the in-suite jacuzzi. It was big enough for both me and my wife to enjoy. And the bathroom itself was huge, nearly the size of our bedroom at home. The bed was comfortable, the balcony gave us a nice place to relax and have breakfast which, of course, was delivered promptly on time which we had asked for the night before. You will read other reviews about how the property is a ways down a rutted dirt road. This is true. And, if you haven't been down such a road, then you have never actually seen Uganda. Most of the country is rutted dirt roads. Paved roads connect cities and can be found in some of the larger cities like Kampala. But leave the commercial areas of even those cities and move into the residential districts and what one has are rutted dirt roads. So, it didn't surprise me at all, and if this turns you off, then go stay at the same chain hotel elsewhere in Entebbe or Kampala that you can find around the rest of the world, but don't fool yourself into thinking you've visited Uganda just because you have a stamp in your passport. My only complaint about this hotel was that we booked only the one night, and couldn't extend it because our little girl was at home expecting us. We will be back, even if not travelling through the airport, just to enjoy a nice place to stay and relax and some special couple's time.…
Amazing place to stay. Charles dropp me at 3am , Diana Made me breakfest at 2:30 am , thanks Diana, Tracy and her messages unbeliavebly good. Food was excellent , Room was clean with hot water . Recomend to everyone.
We stayed at Mowicribs one night before leaving Uganda. This was a fantastic way to end our trip. The beds were very comfortable, shower was nice, very big and clean rooms. But the best thing was the staff. Our plane didn't leave before midnight, so they let us have a very late checkout, no extra charge. They helped us with all transport (including a trip to the beach she recommended which was amazing), the receptionist was funny and kind. We felt so welcomed and we'll taken care of. The sea woman was beautiful and kind, and the driver as well. Would give 20 stars if possible, couldn't be happier with our short stay. Will definitely stay here again if we're ever in Entebbe.
