Great place to stay. Lovely people from the managers, reception, bar staff and the ladies that cleaned the rooms. Regular and frequent change of towels and bedding all beautiful and sparkling clean. Everyone played a very big part in making our holiday very relaxing and enjoyable. Would not hesitate to stay again.
We arrived late and were pleased to have a fairly big room and big balcony. Lady on reception very friendly. Pool looked nice. However in daylight the place was very tired looking and needs a bit of TLC and a bit of money spending on it to come up to scratch. This is a genuine fair review and I will give pluses and minuses as I found them: Good points as I said were size of room and balcony. Bathroom was passable but difficult to get in and out of it due to size - wouldn't be any good if you are a large person. The light was so bad my husband could hardly see to shave in the mirror. Wardrobe space was adequate for a holiday but drawer space very lacking. We used the sofa beds to keep our bits and pieces on as there was just the two of us. The television is pointless as only Turkish channels. Not bothered about tele anyway when on holiday so wasn't a problem for us. Fridge had seen better days but it did the job. We had a great view over the Armatulan area from our high balcony. The pool area was fine but the bed cushions looked really grimy as did the little plastic tables. We had a few breakfasts in the hotel which were very good and the staff were very friendly. Why do they not change the table cloths and runners when they are dirty? Little things like this let it down. We had clean sheets once in our week and clean towels ONCE also. Unheard of in Turkey where they usually change towels every other day if not more. The floor was never swept or mopped that we could see. I dropped a bit of suncream on our bedroom floor and used a wetwipe to get it up after only a day there and it was black. I don't mind cheap and cheerful but I thought it could have been cleaner. It's a shame as it could be a nice little basic hotel. I never like to give negative reviews but really feel it could be so easily made better. I like the area of the hotel, not too far to shops or beach. We enjoyed our holiday but I feel I have to be truthful for people reading this as I always search the reviews to give me a good idea of the hotel I'm booking. Most of the reviews for this hotel were 5 stars and I wonder where these people have holidayed before. Some people came back year after year........ sorry but I just don't get it. We didn't expect 5 star, even 4 star for what we paid but we have been to better 3 star hotels than this. As for Marmaris love the place so much to see. Had really good food and some lovely days on the beach. Went to Jumpin Jack's a few times and would recommend this bar/restaurant. Turkish people are on the whole very friendly and helpful and will be back next year. …
Me my husband and 16 year old daughter stayed here for 2 weeks in August. It was perfect for what we wanted......the rooms are what I would expect in Turkey for self catering...basic(but everything u need)and cleaned every day. The pool is a good size and very clean, plenty of sunbeds and a little background music on(not like some places I passed where it sounded like a rave!!). It is a couple of minutes walk away to numerous restaurants and bars which are very good. The food in Albatros is also very good and reasonably priced...as are the drinks. Staff are so lovely and will do anything for you. We are definately going to book here for next year with other family members. Thankyou Ebos and all the staff!!
Let me start by saying I do many reviews on trip advisor. So this will be a totally different and honest review. After visiting many hotels and apartments around the world I read the previous reviews and decided to take a chance on these apartments. WHAT a huge mistake . Some of the people that have previously reviewed these apartments have obviously not stayed in proper decent accommodation. The rooms were so out dated they desperately need a huge refurbishment. The pictures at the end will show what I mean. I have been to marmaris many many times and honestly say without doubt they have to be the worst I've ever stayed in. They are dirty. They have mould in the showers. The plug sockets need condemning. Pulling the fridge proved the cleaners are lazy there was old tenant of whatever it was. They had the cheek to leave an envelope asking for a tip for cleaning the room. We had the bed sheets changed once in 2 weeks. Never mopped the floor or cleaned the balcony. Fridge was around 30 years old. Bed were like paving slabs and in general I was hugely disappointed in the whole place. How people can even give 2stars puzzles both my wife and myself. Please people if your thinking of staying here, DONT. Only reason I've given 1star is the lady and gentlemen on reception were really good. Overall a very bad place to stay for a holiday. …
